Abstract:

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A random backoff apparatus for an augmented content reception and a method thereof are provided to enable multiple viewers to efficiently use a bi-directional service by preventing multiple reception terminals from being connected to a program-related website or augmented content at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A reception terminal (510) receives meta data from a server (520). In case a first random backoff is included in the meta data, the receiving unit (511) of the reception terminal indicates a reception request of augmented content by using the first random backoff. The control unit (512) of the reception terminal requests the reception of the augmented content to the server after implementing the first random backoff. In case the first random backoff is not included in the meta data, the control unit generates the first random backoff by using a probability distribution of predetermined random sampling numbers (502) and parameters of random sampling numbers (503). Abstract:
PURPOSE: A personalized augmented broadcasting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to transmit a direction to put an augmented program as well as personalized data in metadata while airing an augmented program and to output augmented content while the broadcasting program is aired through a receiving terminal which has obtains the augmented content related to the personalized data, thereby providing personalized data for a viewer. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting network receiving function of a receiving terminal (901) has a protocol layer which is capable of receiving broadcasting content data. Control logic (905) interprets other data including received basic content, and requests a metadata processing unit (906) to process metadata. The control logic controls augmented content receiving by referring to the metadata. The control logic processes the received augmented content by matching/synthesizing/synchronizing the augmented content with the basic content, and outputs the processed augmented content. Abstract:
PURPOSE: An augmented broadcast content receiving method, a device thereof, an augmented content providing method, a device thereof, and an augmented content providing system thereof are provided to supply a text balloon image of a character in broadcast content corresponding to the selection and preference of a viewer or to visually present a score of background music, thereby increasing quality of a broadcast program. CONSTITUTION: A receiving device receives a broadcast stream, which includes broadcast content and metadata, from a server(S310). The receiving device transmits an augmented content request to an augmented content providing device and receives augmented content from the augmented content providing device(S330,S350). The receiving device synchronizes the broadcast content and the augmented content(S360). The receiving device displays the augmented content and the broadcast content(S370). [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S310) Receive a broadcast stream; (S320) Generate configuration setting information; (S330) Transmit an augmented content request; (S340) Transmit the configuration setting information; (S350) Receive an augmented content; (S360) Synchronize the content; (S370) Display the content
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for providing metadata and broadcasting content for augmented broadcasting, a device thereof, a method for providing augmented content, a device thereof, a method for receiving the augmented content, and a device thereof are provided to conveniently receive local information-based augmented content of a mass multimedia type. CONSTITUTION: An augmented content providing device verifies a user according to a request of an augmented content receiving device(S510,S520). When the user is verified, the augmented content providing device confirms applied broadcasting content by analyzing the request(S540). The augmented content providing device searches a storage unit for local information-based augmented content about a place including the receiving device(S550). The augmented content providing device transmits the searched augmented content to the receiving device(S560). Abstract:
PURPOSE: Lawful interception apparatus and method are provided to transfer communication contents of a target without loss to an interception requesting institution regardless of the handover or the roaming of the target. CONSTITUTION: An interception target confirming part(1263) confirms an interception target by requesting a trusted server which is authorized in lawful interception by a legal execution server. If a terminal is the interception target, an intercepting part(1264) intercepts communication traffic related to the terminal. An information receiving part(1261) receives information for requesting the confirmation of interception from the terminal. The interception target confirming part transfers information for requesting the confirmation of interception to the trusted server to confirm the interception target.

Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for managing traffic by using a VID(VLAN(Virtual LAN) Identification) in an EPON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network) are provided to allow a general commercialized switch or router to smoothly perform traffic management for numerous subscribers and subscriber services. A MAC lookup table(15) matches VIDs to be used within an EPON by MAC address and managing them. A service classification policy table(20) stores service classification references corresponding to service control parameters of each VID. A service control policy table(25) stores service policies to be provided according to each classified service. When a downlink packet is inputted, a MAC look-up module(30) looks up a VID corresponding to a MAC address of the corresponding downlink packet by referring to the MAC look-up table(15). The first service classifying module(35) classifies a VID service class of the downlink packet. The first service control module(40) provides a service of a downlink transmission flow according to the classified VID service class. A VID study module(50) studies VIDs through a packet frame of an uplink packet and updates the MAC look-up table(15). The second service classifying module(55) classifies a VID service class of the uplink packet. The second service control module(60) requests a service according to the classified VID service class in case of an uplink transmission flow.
