    Abstract: PURPOSE:To move an image accurately by confirming the complete stopping of an optical system by monitoring the varying number of pulses generated in proportion to the number of rotation of a drive motor at the time of said stopping, and selectively control pulses to be counted by a pulse counter by turning on/off a home position sensor. CONSTITUTION:The followings are provided: the optical system driven by the motor 222, drive control means (motor driver 214) for the motor 222, a pulse generator 223 to generate pulse strings in proportion to the number of rotation of the motor 222, and a counting means (counter 215) to count the number of pulses generated by the pulse generator 223. In stopping the optical system, a control means 214 instructs stop the rotation of the motor 222, then confirms the stopping of the optical system by reading pulse counting value from the counting means 215 plural times. That is, after the outputting of a drive motor stopping signal, the variation in number of encoder pulses outputted in proportion to the number of rotation of the motor 222 is monitored to confirm the actual stopping of the optical system. As a result, an image can be exactly moved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reproduce an original picture having a larger size than that of a prepared recording member without loss of picture by deciding the split region number of an original and a recording medium size, magnifying the picture of each region and reproducing the result on each of plural recording media. CONSTITUTION:A 6-bit digital picture signal is outputted from a CCD read section 301, subjected to shading correction (302), and the result is stored tentatively in a shift memory section 303. A variable magnification moving processing section 304 changes a clock read in the shift memory section 303, a read clock and their timing so as to apply magnification and movement in the main scanning direction. A signal inputted from the shift memory section 303 is inputted to a density processing section 305, where binary-coding processing and dither processing are applied and the result is sent to a trimming processing section 306. The trimming processing section processes forcibly an optional section of a picture data of the main scanning line to '0' or '1' level, edits the picture and sends the result to a printer via a connector JRI.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a picture with the suitable picture quality by recording the desired area of an original, recognizing the occurrence frequency of a prescribed picture data in the area and generating a special signal based upon the occurrence frequency. CONSTITUTION:To read the picture information of the original 102 placed on an original platen 101, a line image pickup element 103 such as a CCD is used, the illuminating light from a light source 104 is reflected on the original 102 surface and image-formed on the image pickup element by a lens 108 through mirrors 105-107. The light source 104, the mirror 105 and mirrors 106 and 107 are shifted at the relative speed of 2:1. After the optical unit is reciprocated from the left edge to the right edge while the main scanning line perpendicular to a sub-scanning direction A in which the optical unit is shifted is read by the resolution of 16pel/mm by the image pickup element, the unit is returned to the left edge again and the scanning of one time is completed. Thus, since the original can be recognized based upon the effective picture, the original with the high accuracy can be discriminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform an optimum picture processing even for an original having a part painted all over in white or black by detecting a maximum value and a minimum value of picture density levels of the original picture and invalidating the maximum value and the minimum value if the difference between them is not within a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:When receiving comparison outputs from AND gates 206 and 209, latches 205 and 208 latch a 6-bit picture signal sent from a latch 202 and send it to a CPU 211. Thus, the minimum value and the maximum value of the picture signal inputted till then are latched in latches 205 and 208. By this constitution, the maximum value and the minimum value of picture density levels of the original are detected in every line, and the picture signal obtained by reading the original is processed on a basis of detected maximum and minimum values, and the maximum value and the minimum value of the line are invalidated if the difference between them is not a prescribed value, and an optimum picture processing is performed even for the original having a part painted all over in white or black or a half tone.

CONSTITUTION:Plural image forming means are provided with matching means magnetic plural recording media subject to image forming and in executing plural picture formings by means of plural image forming means with share, the number of sheets of each image is decided in response to the function of the matching means provided to the image forming means. Further, when the number of sheets of image forming exceeds number of sheets possible for matching, no image forming is attained. Concretely, the size is retrieved as to each printer and a command of paper feeding stage or the possibility of command is applied. Then the number of sheets of recording to a printer possible for use is shared. In the sorting mode, the number of sheets to each printer is shared again according to the number of sorters.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To heighten the mode setting efficiency of the operation by indicating that the picture processing start means can not be accepted before the selection by means of the picture processing selection means is ended. CONSTITUTION:When the variable power mode is a U mode and the scale factor M is 100%, ''U'' and ''100'' are interchangeably repeated and displayed at a scale factor display part 206. When the mode key input is executed, 3 cursors are displayed and flicker instead of ''100''. Since the variable power mode is not determined during flickering, the start key cannot be accepted. A 10 key 207 is used to determine the change scale factor, therefore, the key cannot be used to set the number of sheets. Consequently, ''SCL'' showing the effect is displayed to a number-of-sheet display part 205. When some ten key input is executed, the flickering display of the display ''U'' and the input value is repeated. If the clear key input is executed, the input value during flickering display is cleared and the cursor is flickered. During flickering, the said ''SCL'' is displayed, the start key input cannot be accepted and the number of sheets cannot be also set. When the input scale factor is determined, it is informed that ''SCL'' puts out, the number of sheets is displayed and the number of sheets can be set and started.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain proper exposure through simple constitution by transmitting information corresponding to the full-aperture F value of a lens mounted on a camera body to a flash device, and deciding on a dimming level corresponding to the full-aperture F value of the lens through the flash device. CONSTITUTION:Through a terminal (b), a voltage corresponding to an aperture value determined on a strobe side is transmitted from the strobe side to the camera side. An OP.AMP123 outputs the same voltage as a positive terminal to the terminal (b) and detects the impedance of the terminal (b). Through this impedance detection, the brightness of the lens on the camera side, i.e. full-aperture F value is obtained. According to the information on the full-aperture F value, the output of the comparator 122 increases or decreases in level. Thus, an auxiliary discharge tube 7 for distance measurement and a main discharge tube 13 for photographing are turned on.
