Der Vorteil der Erfindung ist die Erzeugung primärer Diamine in einer solchen Selektivität und Reinheit, dass sie für Polyamidsynthesen geeignet sind.

R : 1-18C-(cyclo)alkyl, 1-18C-aryl, 1-18C-aralkyl or H. An independent claim is included for a material mixture, obtained by the above method, comprising cyclododecatriene, where the ratio of the cyclododecatriene to higher oligomer is at least 10:1, preferably greater than 20:1.
