Abstract:
A media play traffic system is disclosed. The media play traffic system includes at least one hub at least partially remote from at least two media play points, and a normalizer associated with the hub, wherein said normalizer normalizes data inputs for the at least two media play points, wherein the normalization enables importation of a media play list to, and subsequent media play of the imported media play list from, each of the media play points.
Abstract:
A method for capturing a broadcast is disclosed. The method for capturing a broadcast includes detecting an approximate start time of the broadcast, wherein said detecting includes monitoring for a broadcast trigger, identifying the broadcast and a timed length thereof, such that, based on the timed length and the approximate start time, an approximate end time may be calculated, and recording the broadcast from the trigger to the approximate end time, wherein said recording has captured the broadcast of radio advertising.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and a user interface for automatically scheduling a media play is disclosed. The user can specify criteria for play of the media play, including times, stations, and/or external criteria such as a weather condition or the occurrence of an event. Information relevant to the entered criteria is received and assessed against the criteria to determine if the criteria are met. Responsive to the received information meeting the criteria for play of the media play, an accessor accesses the media play inventory and inserts the media play into a media feed.
Abstract:
A system and method for developing plays of media content is disclosed. A system for developing plays of media content includes a hub that is at least partially remote from a media content play point that at least partially controls the plays of the media content and at least partially controls the media content play point that plays the media content; at least one input associated with the hub that receives first non-play content regarding the media content play point and second non-play content and the media content from at least one system user wherein the first non-play content enables selection of the second non- play content and the media content by the at least one system user; at least one module communicatively connected to said hub that parses the first and second non-play content, wherein the parsed non-play content enables the hub to at least partially control the at least one media content play point for the media content as to location, time, and subsequent play by the media content play point of the media content; and at least one output associated with the hub that communicates with the hub which effectuates the hub's at least partial control of the media content play point.
Abstract:
A system and method for monitoring and reporting unsold advertising inventory information are disclosed. The system for monitoring and reporting unsold advertising inventory information includes a local client hub for transmitting advertising inventory information, and for forwarding the advertising inventory information, and a data recorder for receiving the forwarded advertising inventory information, wherein the data recorder parses unsold station inventory information from the advertising inventory information, and makes the unsold station information available for further processing.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for providing authenticated, secure, communication between a gaming host communicating via radio frequency (RF) subcarriers to a remote user device in another location. Location of the remote user device and the host server are determined by accessing signals generated by either Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites, or by terrestrial radio broadcast stations, through a process known as radio frequency triangulation telemetry tracking (RF-3T). Player authentication (identity verification) is determined by use of a personal identification number (PIN). A remote user device may be implemented as a stand alone or self-contained single unit that is portable and can receive communications via radio frequency, or may be implemented as one or more discreet components adapted to be used with a laptop, a personal digital assistant (PDA), or desktop personal computer (PC).
Abstract:
A feedback system for controlling play of media content is disclosed. The feedback system for controlling play of media content includes a hub that is at least partially remote from a media content play point, for accessing and instructing a forwarding of the media content for play, at least one output associated with the hub that contributes non-play content, wherein parsed non-play content enables the hub to instruct a preemption of a first of the media play content with an insertion of a second of the media play content to the media content play point, a first input to the hub that monitors, after a first play of the media content at the media content play point, for availability of at least one second play of the media content, a second input to the hub that effectuates the non-play content to the at least one output based on feedback from a first play of the media content.
