Abstract: A method for a terminal receiving a beam reference signal (BRS) and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) in a wireless communication system can comprise the steps of: determining a power ratio of BRS to PBCH per resource element (RE) on the basis of the number of BRS ports; detecting the BRS and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) on the basis of the number of the BRS ports; and determining whether or not the determined power ratio of BRS to PBCH is to be compensated to an estimated channel on the basis of the DMRS.

The first DU reports reception information of the first information unit to a central unit (CU) of the UE, wherein the CU controls the multiple DUs. The first DU receives, from the CU, a direction regarding a transfer of the first information unit to the CU, and transfers the first information unit to the CU when the direction indicates a specific value.

Abstract: In this disclosure, methods for antenna combining to meet the pilot requirement of the massive MIMO system, and apparatuses for the same are provided. In a user equipment (UE) perspective of view, the UE transmits first pilot signals via each of multiple antennas of the UE, and receives antenna combining information from a base station. Here, the antenna combining information combines the multiple antennas into one or more antenna groups based on the first pilot signals, and each of orthogonal sequences is allocated to each of the antenna groups. The UE transmits second pilot signals using the allocated orthogonal sequences for each of the antenna groups. The second pilot signals can be used for estimating downlink channel from the base station to the UE.
