A protrusion for changing an output signal of the switch 119 from an ON signal to an OFF signal, maintaining the Off signal and again changing to the ON signal is formed at the cam 121a. When the tray is disposed at an origin position becoming horizontal, the switch 119 is operated and held in a section for maintaining the OFF signal of the protrusion by the protrusion.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a state of uncertainty that an ice detection signal is generated or not generated according to the excess or deficiency of ice in a process of returning an ice making tray after release of the ice, without controlling an ice detecting lever, and further to simplify a structure. SOLUTION: Construction is so made that a switch 119 is made to output an Hi signal continuously by a first switch operating means during the time when an ice making tray is at -20 deg. to +30 deg. to the position of the origin as a reference at the time when ice in a prescribed quantity or more is present in an ice storage box and that the switch 119 is made to output the Hi signal continuously by first and second switch operating means during the time when the ice making tray is at -20 deg. to +84 deg. at the time when the ice in the prescribed quantity or more is not present in the ice storage box. By this construction, a switch signal is inverted by the same number of times invariably irrespective of excess or deficiency of the ice in a process wherein the ice making tray returns, without controlling an ice detecting lever. By using as a reference the position where the signal is inverted, therefore, the position of the origin can be detected without fail.

A horn switch is constituted of a spring 15 giving pressing force to the button 13, a screw 16 to be inserted from the pad mounting hole 13a of the button 13, a washer 17. This horn switch is installed in a conductive part of the wheel whereby the horn switch is standardized, and thus automatic assembly for the steering wheel is made performable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To standardize a horn switch as well as to make the automatic assembly of a steering wheel performable by installing this horn switch made up of a resin case, a nonconductive button, a contact terminal strip or the like, in a conductive part of the wheel. CONSTITUTION:In this steering wheel, there are provided with a resin case 12 with a claw 12b on a side wall at the opening side and a small hole 12a on an inner bottom surface, a nonconductive button 13, with a pad mounting hole 13a, supported on this case 12, and a contact terminal strip with a terminal part 14b clamped to this button 13 and being projected to the outside of the case 12. A horn switch is constituted of a spring 15 giving pressing force to the button 13, a contact plate 16 being contacted with the inner bottom surface of the case 12, a screw 17 to be inserted from the pad mounting hole 13a of the button 13, and a washer 18. This horn switch is installed in a conductive part of the wheel whereby the horn switch is standardized so that the automatic assembly of a steering wheel is made performable.
