Abstract:
Support (20) adapted to be associated with, or part of, a capsule (7) for the preparation of a beverage, comprising a section on which at least one sequence of symbols (24) is represented so as that each symbol is sequentially readable, by a reading arrangement of an external device, while the capsule is driven in rotation along an axis of rotation, each sequence coding a set of information related to the capsule.
Abstract:
Capsule for the preparation of a beverage comprising a container and a beverage ingredient contained therein, wherein the container comprises a code (65) adapted for being identified or read by external reading means (62), wherein the code is arranged on the container to be read while the capsule is rotated around an axis of rotation traversing the capsule.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve fitment (6; 60) for a collapsible fluid dispensing package for dispensing fluid by relative pressure present in the package; the valve fitment comprising:—at least a compressible wedge-like spout (9; 9′, 9″);—a sealing base (10) arranged for sealing engagement with the container at a seal edge (5); wherein the wedge-like spout (9; 9′, 9″) is located within a passage (11; 11′, 11″) formed through the sealing base (10) and, wherein sealing base is preferably of higher rigidity than the wedge-like spout (9; 9′, 9″). The invention also relates to a fluid dispensing package (1) comprising the valve fitment (6; 60).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a capsule for the preparation of a beverage in a beverage preparation device. The capsule has a flange which is partially made of paper and partially made of polymer. The polymer is essentially arranged on the flange to cover at least partially the paper part and so to improve the inside tightness of the capsule, in particular, to prevent air enters inside the capsule via folds and creases.
Abstract:
A process of in-line lamination for producing a laminate (1) comprising a specific partially laminated pattern comprising longitudinally spaced adhesive-free non- laminated areas (6) between a first web(2) and a second web (2); a) wherein the first web (2) is partially coated with an adhesive by a coating cylinder (5) to form a non-continuous adhesive pattern in the longitudinal direction and the second web is laminated onto the first web to form the laminate with the spaced apart adhesive-free, non laminated area between the first and second webs (2.3), b) wherein the angular position of the coating cylinder (5) relatively to the first web is adjusted during the lamination in function of the position of a registration mark (13) provided on at least one of the two webs (2,3); c) such registration mark (13) being provided in the longitudinal direction at regularly spaced intervals on at least one of the two webs (2,3).
Abstract:
Capsule (1) for containing beverage ingredients for producing a beverage in a beverage preparation device upon liquid injection into the capsule and by rotating the capsule about its central axis in the device, the capsule comprising:—a side wall (2a), a bottom wall (2b), an opening (2c) and a flange-like rim (2d), and—a lid member (3) attached to the flange-like rim (2d) and/or to the side wall and at least partially covering the opening, wherein the lid member (3) comprises an upper wall (3a) in recess relative to the flange-like rim and/or to the side wall towards the opening of the capsule and which comprises a central inlet (4) and peripheral outlet apertures (5) for the beverage release by effect of centrifugal forces, wherein the lid member (3) further comprises reinforcement members (6) protruding from the upper wall (3a) in axial direction.
