Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the mixture of noise in a low frequency signal during antenna switching by providing plural antennas and a switching means which switches the selectively antennas. CONSTITUTION:The receive signal from the 1st antenna selected in the last field of a television radio wave among plural antennas is denoted as alpha and the receive signal selected by the 2nd antenna is denoted as beta. Then, a signal (alpha+ beta)/2 and a signal (alpha-beta)/2 are generated in a vertical blanking period and a larger level signal between those sum and difference signals is compared with the level of the receive signal alpha of the antenna in use. The antenna is switched to the 2nd antenna only when the level of the signal alpha is smaller. In this case, the sum and difference signals contain a component alpha/2 invariably, so the probability that the amplitudes of the sum and difference signals become much smaller than the amplitude of a component alpha decreases, so the generation of noise at the stage of the low frequency signal is prevented.

PURPOSE:To prevent picture distortion due to distrurbance in horizontal synchronizm from being caused by conducting write to and read from a field memory constituting a converting circuit of a video signal in the unit of an integral number of multiple of the horizontal period to make the horizontal synchronism of the video signal after conversion continuous. CONSTITUTION:After a video signal SV is converted into a digital signal at an A/D converting circuit 5, the signal is fed to a converting circuit 16 so as to be converted into a field double speed video signal. A horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signals PH and PV separated by a synchronism separating circuit 18 from the video signal SV are fed to a control circuit 17. A write clock pulse for picture element timing is fed to a memory selected by a switch circuit 16c and also read clock pulse having a double frequency is fed to a memory selected switch circuit 16d. The video signal SV converted into the digital signal by the A/D converter 5 is fed to memories 16a, 16b via the switch circuit 16c and the signal is written in them alternately.

PURPOSE: To select automatically both a time and a channel of a television program desired to be recorded with simple operation by providing a manually operating member activating simultaneously a channel selecting device and a timer so as to allow a recorder to record the information broadcast on a prescribed channel at a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION: A timer circuit has an ROM 232' storing a channel control signal corresponding to a channel on which a television signal scrambled for recording is broadcast. The 2nd ROM 234' stored the time information corresponding to the time at which the scrambled television signal is broadcast. A coincidence detector 238' receives the time data from the ROM 234' and the present time data from a clock 235 and generates an output signal of "1" when the present time data from the clock 235 is coincident with the time data stored in the ROM 234'. The selecting device 250 is activated so as to select the prescribed channel on which the scrambled television signal is transmitted. COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio

PURPOSE:To reduce fringes by supplying the mean signal of one scanning line signal and its preceding or trailing scanning line signal to one cathode of the television receiver of a large-area video signal display device. CONSTITUTION:The primary color signal of one scanning line is supplied to the 1st cathodes K1 of cathode-ray tubes 1R, 1G, and 1B, and the mean signal of the primary color signal of one scanning line and primary color signal of the trailing scanning line is supplied to the 2nd cathodes K2 to drive the cathode- ray tubes. Therefore, a change from the 1st field to the 2nd field are not so different among respective scanning lines.
