    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of magnetic flux and to improve core efficiency per inductance by forming depth confirming groove parts of a magnetic gap on magnetic core half bodies nearly parallel to a medium slide surface so that front butt surfaces are notched, and its both end are faced to both side surfaces of core half bodies and filling up conductive material showing non-magnetism in the groove part.
    SOLUTION: The groove part 18 as a depth marker deciding the depth zero position 13a of the front gap 13 is formed for precisely and easily reading the depth B being the depth from the slide surface 9 of the front gap 13. The groove part 18 is formed nearly parallel to the slide surface 9 so that the front butt surfaces of a pair of core half bodies are notched, and its both end are faced to both end surfaces of a magnetic head. The conductive material 19 showing the non-magnetism such as Cu is filled up in the groove part 18, and the leakage of the magnetic flux generated in the magnetic core on the groove part 18 is prevented, and the magnetic flux is made to flow convergently through the front gap 13 to reduce the inductance.

SOLUTION: A magnetic head 1 is provided with a pair of magnetic core half bodies 2, 3 in which metal magnetic thin films 5 are formed obliquely on a substrate 4 and in which butting faces are planarized by filling a glass 6. End faces of the metal magnetic thin films 5 are butted via a nonmagnetic material, and a magnetic gap G is formed. A recess for coil formation is formed on the butting face of at least one out of the magnetic core half bodies 2, 3, and a thin-film coil is formed inside the recess for coil formation. In this case, in at least one out of the magnetic core half bodies 2, 3, the metal magnetic thin films 5 are cut so as to correspond to the recess for coil formation, a protective film 12 is formed so as to cover at least a cut face 9, and the protective film 12 is filled with the glass 6.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate stress to be generated between wire and a protective film due to thermal expansion and shrinkage of the wire, thereby suppressing breaking of the wire, by coating the wire to be used for a terminal portion, a connecting portion and wire bonding with a protective film formed of a silicone resin having elasticity. SOLUTION: Terminal portions 13 of a bulk thin-film type magnetic head 2 are connected to connecting portions 17 of a head base 14 by wire bonding, so that a thin-film coil of the bulk thin-film type magnetic head 2 is electrically connected to a signal recording and reproducing section. When the terminal sections 13 of the bulk thin-film type magnetic head 2, the connecting portions 17, and wire 18 are corroded, a satisfactory electrical connecting condition is not achieved, which results in deteriorated electro-magnetic conversion characteristics of a magnetic head apparatus 1. Therefore, in order to prevent corrosion of these terminal portions 13, the connecting portions 17 and the wire 18, a protective film 19 formed of a silicone-type resin is provided to cover the terminal portions 13, the connecting portions 17 and the wire 18.

SOLUTION: This magnetic head is formed by first molding the glass grooves 21, track width regulating grooves 22 and winding grooves 23 in two substrates consisting of magnetic materials. After the respective magnetic core block half bodies 31, 32 are formed, these half bodies are butted against each other via a gap material and the fused glass is poured into the glass grooves 21 to form the half bodies are joined and integrated and the magnetic core block 33. Next, the surface (a) for sliding to the magnetic recording media is subjected to cylindrical grinding by using a cylindrical grinding machine so that the position of a magnetic gap (g) attains a peak point part to form an R shape. In succession, the grinding wheel is inserted into each of the respective glass grooves 121 into which the fused glass is poured from the side opposite to the surface (a) for sliding with the magnetic recording media, and the magnetic core block 33 is cut and head chips 1 are cut out.

CONSTITUTION: This degaussing coil 10 comprises a copper wire bundle 11 in which the copper wire that is a conductor is bundled, and the electrical insulating tape 12 used by winding across the copper wire bundle 11 from a start point 13 to an end point 14. The electrical insulating tape 12 is formed in structure without providing the adhesive that is an adhesive means adhered on the means ordinarily, and also, a tape provided with prescribed insulation performance and heat resistance is used. Therefore, since no adhesive is used in the electrical insulating tape, winding work is easily performed, which improves efficiency. Similarly, separation from the wire bundle is facilitated, and also, the copper wire is reused since no residual adhesive component exists in the copper wire bundle.
