Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cost-reduced document data control system which both improves color consistency and attaches importance to color sharpness and color accuracy. SOLUTION: An object included in a document is identified (214) and characters of that object is identified whether the object is one of a graphic object (322), pictorial object (326), a normal text/line (314), and a large text/line, and whether the color of that object is uniform (330), etc. In accordance with these identification results, any one of a gamut of an individual engine (354), an intersection of gamuts (350), and a blended combination (356) of a gamut of an individual engine and the intersection of gamuts is allocated to each of objects. The color of that object is mapped within that allocated gamut in preparation for rendering such as printing or displaying. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an aggregate imageable area that is wider than an imageable area of any of individual marking modules 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 in a printing platform. SOLUTION: Two or more marking modules 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 are arranged zigzag with respect to an acceptance element 10. Two or more marking modules 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 are offset perpendicular to a process direction 34. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving image quality for a printer by compensating the reload error of a donor roll. SOLUTION: The method for improving image quality includes a stage for substantially predicting influence of the reload error on at least one divided plate of a developed image, a stage for adjusting a digital image so as to compensate the predicted influence by the reload error, and a stage for forming the developed image on the basis of the adjusted digital image. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner control method for compensating the reload error of a donor roll. SOLUTION: The toner control method includes a stage for substantially predicting influence of the reload error exerted on a developed test patch, a stage for adjusting digital data related to the test patch so as to compensate the predicted influence exerted on the test patch by the reload error, a stage for generating the already developed test patch on the basis of the adjusted digital data, a stage for detecting the already developed test patch, and a stage for adjusting toner output according to the detected data from the test patch.
