Abstract:
A treatment device, comprising: a light irradiation mechanism (54) which irradiates light of a certain wavelength region to a skin surface of an object to be treated; a housing in which the light irradiation mechanism and an electric component including at least a power supply are incorporated; a waterproofing sealing member which seals an accommodating portion for the electric component in said housing against the outside; first and second brush groups (52,53) made by making a plurality of brushes (57,58) projected on said housing into units, the brushes having translucency transmitting the light emitted by said light irradiation mechanism and being used with tip portions contacted with the skin surface of the object to be treated; and a brush drive mechanism which reciprocates the first and second brush groups respectively in a direction along the skin surface in a manner that approach or separation of a tip part of the first brush group and a tip part of said second brush group tip portions of which are contacted with the skin surface of the object to be treated is repeated.
Abstract:
A bathing system and corresponding method featuring a multi-position support apparatus (10) accepting a user in a standing position, moving the user into a predefined reclining position, bathing the user in the predefined reclining position, and returning the user to a standing position Moreover, the system features Jacuzzi, spring elements surface, controller operated sprinklers, massage elements, and dryer.
Abstract:
A treatment device of the present invention includes: a housing in which an electric component such as a rechargeable battery is incorporated; first and second brush units each having a plurality of brushes and formed of a translucent material; an LED lamp incorporated in a base end part of the plural brushes in the housing; waterproofing O-ring and packing which seal an accommodating portion for the electric component in the housing against the outside; and a brush drive mechanism which reciprocates the first and second brush units in a direction along a surface of a scalp in a manner that approach or separation between tip parts of the plural brushes tip portions of the which are contacted with the scalp is repeated.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is an all-purpose device for underwater therapy, exercise (fitness) and massage, which we install on a swimming pool wall. By means of different gears and hinged components movable in one direction, it enables one to perform various limbering-up exercises of the whole body in water. Water presents a natural resistance in workout, thus it is not necessary to make additional adjustments to individual devices for different strengths of a user. The all-purpose device for underwater therapy, exercise and massage according to the invention basically consists of two pairs of carriers (7, 7') and (8, 8') placed vertically and parallel to each other, or two vertical carriers (10, 20), located in the swimming pool and attached to its edge with suitable fastening components, whereas one of the carriers is fixed and the other is vertically movable and to which height adjustable assemblies are installed for limbering-up of upper and lower extremities and the whole body in the sense of exercise and massage. In such way, by adding separate exercise and massage assemblies, it is possible to construct different independent exercise devices by each having one exercise and one massage assembly.
Abstract:
A fluid applicator having a body with a fluid inlet in communication with a reservoir of fluid to be dispensed. The applicator further includes a plurality of applicator tines extending outwardly from an application area of the body, and the tines are at least partially flexible. Moreover, at least some of the tines include a fluid pathway. Additionally, the applicator further includes a handle portion generally above the application area. An actuato (10)is located on the body adjacent the front end and generally above and off-center from the application area. The actuator is operably configured to selectively dispense a predetermined amount of fluid to the fluid pathways of the tines for accurate and consistent dispensing and application of the fluid to a target surface.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Foot care devices include a battery-powered vibration motor disposed inside a water-tight housing, a foot treatment element attached to the upper surface of the housing, and surface immobilizing suction cups attached to the bottom of the housing to inhibit positional movement of the device during use. Foot treatment elements have exfoliating pumice, massaging protuberances, and/or cleaning bristles and vibrate during operation of the motor. Cushioning pads between the upper surface of the housing and the attached foot treatment element reduce rattling noises during operation of the motor. Foot treatment elements also have drain holes extending therethrough and the housing has a drain channel for draining water off the upper surface. The devices can also have one or more stabilizing platform extending therefrom. Foot pressure applied to the platform during operation further reduces positional movement. Foot care kits can have a plurality of interchangeable foot treatment elements.
