Abstract:
In a pressure filter for liquid media a plurality of filter elements is supported by a removable hollow cross bar which, when the filter tank is opened, can be removed together with all or groups of the filter elements. The filter element has a flexible filter wall and preferably an outer fine meshed wall and an inner coarse meshed wall.Between the two wall portions a packing material is arranged. Preferably the entire filter element is a flexible tube element. Spray tubes are arranged in the filter tank which are also removable together with their supporting carrier member. The spray elements serve to rinse out the filter cake. This may be done by passing the rinsing agent agent successively at spaced time periods through individual groups of the filter elements.
Abstract:
The filtration plant consists of a series of filter units, each comprising a filter bowl containing a tubular filter element. The filter bowl is connected to a water inlet header while the interior of the filter element is connected to a clean water outlet header by way of valve connections. The filter bowl is also valve connected to a drain to permit backwashing. A perforated tube mounted in the center of the filter element which serves to collect clean water during filtering and to provide an even distribution of backwash water on the filter element during backwashing.
Abstract:
A filtering device includes a container having an inlet for introducing liquid to be treated, an annular multi-layered prepacked screen assembly (7) provided in the container and having an outlet for treated liquid. The screen assembly includes three or more cylindrical screens (9,10,11) having different diameters and bieng coaxially disposed in the container with their axes extending vertically in the container. An anulus (12,13) is formed between the respective cylindrical screens (9,10,11). Two or more different filter materials performing different filtering functions are filled one in each of the annuluses between the cylindrical screens.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A filter apparatus having a large effective filtering surface area, but does not causing blocking of filtering material is provided. CONSTITUTION: The filter apparatus has a filter tank having an inflow port of a liquid to be filtered and the annular multilayered prepack screen assembly (7) having an outflow port of a filtrate provided in the filter tank. The screen assembly (7) includes three or more cylindrical screens (9, 10, 11) having different diameters coaxially arranged in the filter tank so that the common axis thereof extends in the vertical direction of the filter tank. Annular spaces (12, 13) are formed between the cylindrical screen (9, 10, 11) and packed with two or more different filter materials achieving mutually different filtering functions.
Abstract:
A water supply means to pump up the filtrate pumped up from a filtrate tank (13) into a filtrate discharge pipe (3), and a filtrate discharge pump (5) are provided, while an unthickened sludge extracting device (20) is fitted to the bottom of a sludge tank (1), where a high negative pressure acts upon the inside of filter plates (2) to conduct filtration, the unthickened sludge (10) is discharged from the unthickened sludge extracting device (20), and/or the unthickened sludge (10) present near the thickened sludge (11) is displaced by an unthickened sludge displacement means (22, 24, 28,29) so as not to contact the thickened sludge (11), and filtration of only thickened sludge (11) continues so that high-concentration thickened sludge (11) can be obtained without being affected by the water in the unthickened sludge (10).
Abstract:
A fluid treatment assembly (50) defines a treatment chamber (56) and includes a treatment sub assembly (10) positioned in an assembled condition in the treatment chamber (56). The treatment sub assembly (10) includes a plurality of treatment members (12). The treatment assembly (50) is arranged so that in use a fluid for treatment flows through the treatment members (12).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for polishing hard surfaces, especially glass surfaces, said device comprising a polishing system (5) provided with a replaceable polishing disk (6). Said polishing system (5) can be displaced in a two-dimensional manner by means of a displacement device (10) comprising a holding element (11) for the polishing system (5), and guiding elements (12, 18; 20, 25) for displacing the holding element (11) in XY directions. The inventive device enables hard surfaces to be repaired in a simple and precise manner.
