Abstract:
A portable liquid-solid separator for handling sludge in bulk with an upright vessel having a bed with a drain and surrounding sides. A grate overlays the interior of the vessel, bed and sides. A filter overlays the grate, extending up the sides and overlapping the side grate. The separator is filled with a sludge which is then separated by gravity filtration and the wicking action of the filter. Liquid is drained out the bottom of the vessel and the solids are transported within the vessel. In a preferred embodiment, the vessel is a bath tub style trailer with dumping capabilities.

1,101,453. Filter aid filter. SEITZ-WERKE G.m.b.H. 19 Feb., 1965 [22 Feb., 1964], No. 7172/65. Heading B1D. A filter aid filter in which liquid to be filtered on entering the filter vessel 18 is initially directed away from filter elements 19 through ports 17 to reduce turbulence, comprises a horizontal filter vessel 18 containing a number of disc shaped filter elements 19 with their outlets connected in parallel, the elements 19 resting one behind the other on substantially parallel horizontal supports 15 (16) within the filter vessel and the supports being mounted in turn on a fixed or movable filter closure member (10) carrying liquid inlet ports (11, 12) and outlet ports (14), each support 15 (16), comprising a hollow conduit, closed at one end, with its open end in communication with an inlet port and having outlet orifices 17 substantially outside the circumference of the filter element for directing incoming liquid towards the vessel wall and hence away from the filter elements. Each filter element 19 may comprise fine wire mesh stretched on frames and peripheral eyelets (21) which when joined together form a fluid outlet manifold from the elements. The pressure drop in the conduits in supports 15 (16) may be equalized by different cross-sections or changing the spacing of the orifices 17. The filter aid material may be asbestos fibres. Numbers in brackets refer to Fig. 1 (not shown).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A waste water treatment system for vehicles is provided to apply to landscaping work or firefighting by removing flame and dust with water and reuse waste water on the floor after filtering. CONSTITUTION: A waste water treatment system for vehicles comprises a nozzle pipe(110), a water collecting tank(200), a drum screen(300), a water treating tank(400), and a water storing tank(500). The nozzle pipe is separably installed on a vehicle loading unit(100) and injects water. The water collecting tank is installed on the vehicle loading unit and collects waste water with foreign materials through an inlet pipe. The drum screen installed on the water collecting tank and filters foreign materials. The water treating tank receives waste water filtered through the drum screen, through the inlet pipe, and filters the waste water.
Abstract:
A method and system to recycle water for hydro-excavation includes a vacuum hose to remove a slurry of solids and liquid from hydro-excavation at a site. A debris tank is in fluid communication with the vacuum hose and is used to collect the slurry. The system also includes a filter drum, where a portion of the filter drum is configured to rotate through the slurry to filter the liquids from the solids, where dewatered solids are returned to the site for compaction. In addition, an outlet is in fluid communication with a central portion of the filter drum to return filtered water for use in hydro-excavation at the site.
Abstract:
Fluid filtration devices, systems and methods are disclosed. The device comprises a pump-filter hybrid system that uses rotational motion to produce pressure to drive liquid through filter elements, capturing filtrate in an isolated chamber of the device and rejecting separated solids into a second isolated chamber. The fluid filtration device, which can be configured to filter a wide variety of fluids, comprises: an influent input manifold; an impeller bowl and filter assembly configured to rotate about an axis; a barrier and routing configuration to catch and distribute filtrate; a barrier and routing configuration to catch and distribute rejected solids.
Abstract:
A mobile liquid treatment apparatus, such as a filter assembly (40), includes a frame having a first end (46), a second end (48), and a platform (42) extending between the first end and the second end. A filter (50) is secured to the frame and is configured to separate a solid component from a liquid component of a solid liquid mixture. The mobile filter assembly includes at least a first deployment leg assembly (62) secured to the first end of the frame and at least a second deployment leg assembly secured to the second end (62) of the frame. A force generator is associated with each deployment leg assembly and is configured to apply a force to the first leg and the second leg to move the second leg relative to the first leg, such that the first and second deployment leg assemblies are capable of cooperating to raise the filter assembly to a desired height above a surface on which the filter assembly is supported.
Abstract:
Filtering of an operating fluid of a mechanical device is performed utilizing a pumping device of the mechanical device which routinely circulated the operating fluid within the mechanical device. A remote filtering station of the present invention has a first conduit to contain the operating fluid during transfer from the mechanical device, a filter and a second conduit to contain the operating fluid during transfer back to the mechanical device. In the most preferred embodiment a filter replacement adapter is attached in place of the mechanical device's filter during the filtering procedure. The mechanical device is operated during the filtering procedure where the pumping device of the mechanical device circulates the operating fluid through the mechanical device and through the filter of the remote filtering station. This provides for a cleansing of all of the conduits of the mechanical device which routinely has the operating fluid circulated therethrough.
