Abstract:
In a destination floor registration device which permits the voice input of a destination floor in the hall of an elevator, passengers are positively prevented from staying in front of the sensor which detects the presence of passengers. A microphone for voice input, a sensor for detecting the presence of a passenger present in a prescribed range in the vicinity of the microphone and a notification device are installed in a hall of an elevator. Also, there are provided voice comparison means which identifies a destination floor of a passenger on the basis of a voice signal from the microphone while the sensor is detecting the presence of a passenger and holding means which holds information on a destination floor identified by the voice comparison means while the sensor is detecting the presence of a passenger and thereafter outputs the held information on a destination floor to a controller of the elevator when the sensor ceases to detect the presence of a passenger. The period of time during which the sensor continues to detect the presence of a passenger is measured and the notification device is caused to notify a prescribed guidance to prompt the passenger to move away from the microphone when the measured period of time exceeds a prescribed threshold value.
Abstract:
Method for handling erroneous calls in an elevator system, which includes at least one elevator, call-giving devices for registering calls on the floor levels and/or in the elevator car, and also a control system that responds to the aforementioned calls. One or more calls given by a passenger are registered, it is assessed on the basis of at least one criterion whether some call is erroneous, and at least one corrective action is performed for removing a call, or for rectifying the call data of a call, if the call is ascertained to be erroneous on the basis of the aforementioned criterion.
Abstract:
A method of operating an elevator system is provided. The method comprising: receiving a first elevator call from a mobile device on a first floor, the first elevator call including a destination request to travel to a second floor; moving a first elevator car to the first floor in response to the first elevator call; moving the first elevator car away from the first floor; detecting acceleration data of the mobile device; detecting elevator acceleration data of the first elevator car; comparing the acceleration data of the mobile device and the elevator acceleration data of the first elevator car; and determining whether the mobile device is within the first elevator car based upon the comparison of the acceleration data of the mobile device and the elevator acceleration data of the first elevator car.
Abstract:
In elevator journey prioritization often calls for larger groups are prioritized. This is often misused by placing elevator calls for larger groups that are actually travelling. This problem can be reduced by identifying the calling person when placing the call and again in the elevator. The number of people in the elevator can be estimated by using machine vision or weight-based approximation methods. When the number of passengers is not known the possible misuse can be suspected if a person places considerably more group calls as than average.
Abstract:
Provided is a call registration device of an elevator capable of appropriately canceling a call registration by voice input. For this purpose, the call registration device of an elevator includes a storage section which stores in advance predetermined destination registration vocabulary voice data representing destination floors and predetermined call registration canceling vocabulary voice data not including a destination registration vocabulary; a voice recognition section which makes a judgment as to whether or not an inputted voice matches voice data of the storage section; a voice call registration section which, in the case where an inputted voice matched the destination registration vocabulary voice data, outputs to an elevator control device a call registration request to a destination floor of the destination registration vocabulary which the voice matches; and a destination floor holding section which holds the most up-to-date destination floor of a call registration request outputted by the voice call registration section. In the case where within a period of time in which a cancellation is possible after the holding of the most up-to-date destination floor in the destination floor holding section, a voice of the call registration canceling vocabulary is inputted, the voice call registration section outputs to the elevator control device a request to cancel a call registration of the destination floor held by the destination floor holding section.
