Abstract:
An ozone purification system for wastewater comprising an ozone diffusion reactor installable in or in fluid communication with wastewater collection tanks of septic or other wastewater systems. The reactor includes a pump that circulates wastewater through a gas-liquid mixing device, a contact volume, and a static mixer. The contact volume comprises an elongate length of contact piping and the static mixing chamber is configured to impart turbulence into the flow of the circulated wastewater and ozone gas.
Abstract:
A dissolved ozone delivery system comprises a generator for producing gaseous ozone, a bottle for holding a liquid suitable for receiving the gaseous ozone, flow conduits for delivering the gaseous ozone to the bottle and dissolving the ozone into the liquid to form an ozonated liquid, and a multicomponent bottle closure sealing device. The multicomponent bottle closure sealing has several discrete gas flow passageways for channeling the ozone gas into the bottle, venting undissolved gas and delivering the ozonated liquid to an exterior surface for decontamination thereof or medical instruments for sterilization or use in medical or dental procedures.
Abstract:
A water purification system for swimming pool, pond, aquatic mammal tank, spa or fountain, which is simple to operate, low in maintenance, and highly reliable is described. The system takes advantage of synergistic benefits derived from the combination of ozonation and electrolytic chlorination in the same system. Combining both of the technologies of Ozonation and Electrolysis allow in site production of at least one of chlorine dioxide, chlorite, and chlorate, that is used as a disinfectant agent for treating water reservoirs. The system includes an ozone injector (14) for injecting ozone into a water stream, an ozone contactor chamber (19), and an elctrolytic chlorinator (24) for generating oxychlorous species.
Abstract:
A method for treating a liquid (e.g. water) with a gas (e.g. air) containing ozone includes passing air through a corona discharge ozone generator to produce air containing ozone and introducing the air containing ozone into the liquid; passing air through the ozone generator, and, periodically altering the concentration of ozone produced by the ozone generator by periodically de-energizing the ozone generator or changing the air flow rate through the ozone generator.
Abstract:
A system (30) for treating a contaminated liquid wherein atmospheric air is fed into an oxygen generator (32) with the resulting gases fed into an ozone generator (54) and the resulting gases fed into a treatment tower (58). An apparatus (38) is located between the oxygen generator (32) and the ozone generator (54) which ionizes the gases being fed to the ozone generator (54) from the oxygen generator (32).
Abstract:
Waste water is remanufactured with ozone in a series of mixing vessels. The ozone is dispersed to both a top and a bottom portion of each mixing vessel, but in different amounts. This creates an electrical potential difference across the height of each mixing vessel which significantly improves the oxidation of organic carbon-based impurities and eliminates H2S and bacteria. Sludge and solids floating to the top of each mixing vessels are removed, as well as sludge and solids settling to the bottom of the mixing vessels. When oil and gas well waste water is treated in this manner, the resulting treated water is purified and has a high salt content suitable for oil or gas well injection.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides methods and systems for processing or treating wastewater. The methods of systems of the present disclosure may perform a treatment process on a wastewater stream including gray water and black water to produce a product stream. The product stream may comprise a potable water stream or a stream of treated water with a reduced concentration of one or more contaminant originally included in the wastewater stream.
Abstract:
A faucet for dispensing a fluid includes a spout, a pull-out spray head removably coupled to the spout and including an outlet, and a valve assembly in fluid communication with the outlet. Additionally, the faucet includes a fluid treatment assembly configured to output a treatment into the fluid.
Abstract:
