Abstract:
Abstract:
Multiple polymeric panels (10) molded as a rigid integral body having a planar top surface (11) and a bottom grid structure (25) are interlocked together mechanically along side edges (20) (12). Each side edge has alternating upwardly (14) and downwardly (22) facing steps with concave dimples (18) on one and mating convex projections (24) on the other for securely interlocking adjacent panels to each other. The steps of adjacent panels interlock with each other to form a complete floor system. The multiple polymeric panels can be molded to simulate flooring materials such as brick or overlaid with sections of linoleum, carpet, synthetic grass, tile or wood flooring. Alternately, the assembled panels can be covered with a sheet of decorative material.
Abstract:
A connection surface that is disposed on at least a portion of a face of a structural unit comprises a first convex surface and a first concave surface arranged substantially along a first line. The shape of the first concave surface is complementary to the shape of the first convex surface. A second convex surface and a second concave surface are arranged substantially along a second line that is substantially parallel to the first line. The shape of the second concave surface is complementary to the shape of the second convex surface. The concave-convex order of the second line is reversed relative to the first line, such that the second convex surface corresponds with the first concave surface and the second concave surface corresponds with the first convex surface.
Abstract:
A floor tile expansion joint accommodates differential thermal expansion or contraction of modular floor tiles used in flooring applications. One or more rows of floor tile expansion joints may be connected to modular floor tiles for various floor tile applications.
Abstract:
An easy-to-lay floor board, comprising a four-sided base board and a four-sided surface board fixed and connected to the four-sided base board, characterized in that the four-sided base board comprises a four-sided base board body and board-shaped hooking tongues that are provided on the edges of the four-sided base board body; each edge of the four-sided base board body is uniformly provided with several board-shaped hooking tongues; the underside of the edge of the four-sided base board body is provided with buckles beside the board-shaped hooking tongues, corresponding to the board-shaped hooking tongues; the positions of the board-shaped hooking tongues on two edges of the four-sided base board body and the positions of the board-shaped hooking tongues on two other edges of the four-sided base board body are arranged in a staggered manner, and the positions of the buckles on two edges of the four-sided base board body and the positions of the buckles on two other edges of the four-sided base board body are arranged in a staggered manner. In comparison with the state of the art, the present invention has the advantages of being able to have the floor boards laid and fixed very conveniently without the need for fixing with adhesive or iron nails, and of being convenient for use and simple in structure, and after the decorative strip is adopted, it further has the advantage of good decorative effects.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a plate (1) for laying especially on floors, walls, ceilings, façades or the like, inside and outside, using at least one carrier (13, 24) and at least one anchoring element (6, 22) which is arranged on the side of the plate (1) facing the carrier (13, 24) and is used to anchor the plate (1) to the carrier (13, 24). Said anchoring element (6, 22) can be actively connected to at least one counter-element (12, 25) of the carrier (13, 24). According to the invention, the anchoring element (6, 22) is fixed to the plate by means of a material which is coated or foamed onto the side of the plate (1) facing the carrier (13, 24).
Abstract:
The invention is directed to assembly of a plurality of joined panel parts. Some of the individual parts contain a pre-applied curable adhesive to one or more sides or edges. An initiating metal activator is applied to complementing edges and cure is activated when the parts are assembled. The pre-applied adhesive system contains monomer(s), initiators, oligomers, an acid, and a sulfonyl compound. An activating or initiating metal foil, dispersion or coating is applied to the complementary surface. The bonding is effected when the adhesive system is activated by mating the edges. The activating metal is a reducible elemental transition metal. The metal is affixed to one surface which is brought into proximity with the curable adhesive compound dispensed onto the complementing part. The invention has usefulness in the joining of wood, wood products, composites of wood, thermoset polymer panels, non-initiating metal panels, and thermoplastic/wood composites, and the like to provide self-bonding assemblies having appearance surfaces, such as wall or floor coverings, especially assemblies that used joined board-like construction members.
