Abstract:
The device for counting the strokes of a piston sliding within a cylinder comprises a support housing a magnet which generates a magnetic field. The support also houses a sensor arranged to sense the magnetic field, such that the passage of the piston into a position corresponding with the magnet causes a disturbance in the magnetic field, which is sensed by the sensor, to indicate a stroke of the piston.
Abstract:
A compressor having a sensorless motor and a driving method thereof. The compressor includes a sensorless motor having a rotation shaft connected to a rotator, a piston for performing a compression stroke and an intake stroke between a top dead center and a bottom dead center thereof, and a crank connecting the rotation shaft to the piston. The method includes forcibly aligning the rotator such that the rotator is positioned at a start position in the intake stroke of the piston, and accelerating rotation of the forcibly aligned rotator.
Abstract:
A single-die injection pump for high-speed internal combustion engines which, because of its compact design and good volumetric efficiency, in conjunction with a high oscillation frequency of the piston, has a pumping quantity comparable to a multiple-die injection pump, without causing excessively high peak torque values in the drive of the single-die injection pump.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a downhole hydraulic pump monitoring system and more specifically relates to a system which detects and/or anticipates pump malfunctions by processing readings taken by a pressure transmitter on the operating pressure and the stroke rate of the downhole hydraulic pump where decisions are reached regarding positive pump operation or inefficient pump malfunction based upon comparisons between the instantaneous pressure readings of the pressure transmitter and a time-averaged operating pressure of the power fluid taken over a multitude of pump strokes.
Abstract:
For a metering vibrating pump in a variable flow rate condition, a system and a device is provided for supplying desired liquid quantities comprising a memory circuit (36) set by a supply or energization starting signal (38), a counter (24) counting a certain pump stroke number detected by a piston position detector (12) for detecting the position of a piston in the pump, a numerical comparator (28) comparing the numbers emitted by the counter (24) with preset numbers formed by a numerical digital combinator (32) for outputting a reset signal for the memory circuit (36); the memory circuit (36) starts the pump operation when it is set and stops the operation when it is reset.

Abstract:
A fluid delivery system for delivering a metered dose of fluid from a supply tank (28) to a downstream chamber or vessel (10), comprises a pump apparatus (20) comprising a pump plunger (32) which is operable to perform a pumping stroke under the control of an electromagnetic actuator (36), including a solenoid (36a), to effect delivery of the fluid and a control unit (24) for supplying an input signal (58) to the solenoid (36a) to initiate a current flow to the solenoid (36a) and thereby initiate movement of the pump plunger (32). An electronic device (54) provides an output signal to indicate that movement of the pump plunger has stopped at the end of the pumping stroke, and a timer determines a time difference between the input signal (58) being supplied to the solenoid (36a) and the output signal being output by the electronic device (54). A processor (26) compares the time difference with a predetermined time difference and determines, as a result of the comparison, whether or not the pump plunger (32) has performed a valid pumping stroke in which an intended volume of fluid is displaced and which may therefore be used in a totalized flow calculation.
