    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a pump (1) for pumping a liquid, having at least one pump housing (2) with at least one inlet (3) and at least one outlet (4). An eccentric (5) is arranged on the pump housing (2), said eccentric being rotatable about an axis (6) relative to the pump housing (2). A deformable element (7) is arranged between the pump housing (2) and the eccentric (5), and a pump channel (8) from the at least one inlet (3) to the at least one outlet (4) is formed together with the deformable element (7) and the pump housing (2). The deformable element (7) is pressed against the pump housing (2) in some sections by the eccentric (5) such that at least one movable seal (9) of the pump channel (8) and at least one closed volume (10) are formed in the pump channel (8), said seal and volume being movable along the pump channel (8) from the inlet (3) to the outlet (4) in order to pump the liquid by means of a rotational movement of the eccentric (5). In step a) of the method, a liquid quantity (14) is set which is to be pumped by the pump (1). In step b), a temperature (12) of the deformable element (7) is determined. In step c), at least one parameter (13) is determined while taking into consideration the temperature (12) from step b), said parameter (13) representing a dependence between the movement of the eccentric (5) and the pump capacity of the pump (1). In step d), the liquid quantity (14) set in step a) is pumped, an operating mode of the pump (1) being adapted while taking into consideration the parameter (13) from step c).

    Abstract: In a compressor shell built in an outdoor unit 10 of an air conditioner, a compressor shell thermistor 21 that detects a temperature of the shell is installed.     Abstract: An apparatus controls a variable displacement compressor used in a refrigerant circuit. The compressor includes a drive shaft (6), which is rotated by an engine (E).
