Abstract: Accurately detection of logos in media content on media presentation devices is addressed. Logos and products are detected in media content produced in retail deployments using a camera. Logo recognition uses saliency analysis, segmentation techniques, and stroke analysis to segment likely logo regions. Logo recognition may suitably employ feature extraction, signature representation, and logo matching. These three approaches make use of neural network based classification and optical character recognition (OCR). One method for OCR recognizes individual characters then performs string matching. Another OCR method uses segment level character recognition with N-gram matching. Synthetic image generation for training of a neural net classifier and utilizing transfer learning features of neural networks are employed to support fast addition of new logos for recognition.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to detecting and identifying malicious sites using machine learning. A computing platform may receive image data of a graphical rendering of a resource available at a uniform resource locator (URL). The computing platform may compute a computer vision vector representation of the image data. The computing platform may compare the computer vision vector representation of the image data to stored numeric vectors representing page elements, resulting in a feature indicating whether the computer vision vector representation of the image data is visually similar to a known page element, and may input the feature to a classifier. The computing platform may receive, from the classifier, a phish classification score indicating a likelihood that the URL is malicious. In response to determining that the phish classification score exceeds a first phish classification threshold, the computing platform may cause a cybersecurity server to perform a first action.

Abstract: Generating and running computer vision pipelines for processing images and/or video. A user may select blocks for the computer vision pipeline, including image transformation blocks that transform images and/or video, and prediction blocks that detect objects or classes of objects in images and/or video. The user may specify an input source for the images and/or video and an output destination for the computer vision pipeline. Upon activation, the computer vision pipeline receives input images and/or video. The input images and/or video are transformed using the image transformation block to produce transformed images and/or video. Objects or classes of objects in the transformed images and/or video are detected using the prediction block to produce detected objects or classes of objects. The detected objects or classes of objects are transmitted to the output destination.

Abstract: Machine learning based models recognize objects in images. Specific features of the object are extracted from the image using machine learning based models. The specific features extracted from the image assist deep learning based models in identifying subtypes of a type of object. The system recognizes the objects and collections of objects and determines whether the arrangement of objects violates any predetermined policies. For example, a policy may specify relative positions of different types of objects, height above ground at which certain types of objects are placed, or an expected number of certain types of objects in a collection.

Abstract: A system and method for protecting copyright in content distributed online, in combination with specified business rules. A portion of content presented for upload on a network is analyzed to detect an image associated with a content owner; the image is compared with reference images to identify the content owner; and business rules are applied to control unauthorized uploading of the content. The identifier may be a logo included in the content as a digital graphic, or a non-visual marker. Analysis is advantageously performed on a sample of video frames or a segment of preselected length. If the content is found to be copyrighted, and the attempted upload is unauthorized, uploading may or may not be permitted, and the user may or may not be charged a fee for subsequent access to the content.
