    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for coding a common channel is provided to code ACK(Acknowledgement)/NACK(Non ACK)/ACK and C(Continue) signals transmitted to each mobile station through an F-CACKCH(Forward Common Acknowledgement Channel). CONSTITUTION: Encoders(10-15) code ACK/NACK/ACK and C signals of one bit inputted by using one of sequences corresponding to each matrix of a Hadamard matrix, and output the sequences, respectively. The outputted sequences mutually have orthogonality, and are inputted to spreaders(20-25). Each of the spreaders(20-25) spreads the inputted 12 sequences by N times, and outputs spread sequences. The outputted sequences are inputted to sequence repeaters(30-35) to be repeated as much as symbol length.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus of generating a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) signal for variable traffic situations in a communication system is provided to appropriately control a gain of a traffic signal by using one traffic signal generator, and to generate a CDMA signal. CONSTITUTION: A pilot signal generator(211) generates a pilot signal under an external control. A traffic signal generator(212) generates a traffic signal under an external control. A gain controller/signal combiner(213) converts the pilot signal and the traffic signal into baseband analog signals, and controls a gain of the converted baseband traffic signal. The gain controller/signal combiner(213) combines the baseband traffic signal with the converted baseband pilot signal to output a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) signal. The gain controller/signal combiner(213) highly controls the gain of the baseband traffic signal as many as a preset gain value.
