Abstract:
A miniature and reliable device capable of reading a book document while turning the pages thereof. A book document is laid on a document table in a spread position face up. The document table is pressed upward while a scanning unit is restricted in movement in the up-and-down direction. The scanning unit, therefore, receives the surface of the book document pressed upward.
Abstract:
This invention relates to scanning apparatus and, more particularly, to equipment for reading visual material and converting it to an electrical signal representative of the visual image for retransmission to a recorder located at a remote location.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of performing printing processing for a printing object by moving on the printing object without deteriorating printing quality.SOLUTION: A self-propelled printer of the present invention, which is a self-propelled printer for performing printing for a printing object, includes a movement part that moves the self-propelled printer on the printing object, and a printing part that performs the printing for the printing object, on the basis of printing processing data generated on the basis of information on a position where the self-propelled printer is moved by the movement part.
Abstract:
To provide a new framework that can flexibly take images of a moving target in remote monitoring without the need to arrange a plurality of network cameras, an autonomously movable moving body is used to take an image of a photographic target in accordance with a request from a user terminal, and the photographic image is provided to the user terminal. The moving body includes: a position estimating unit that acquires, from a wireless tag reader, a radio field intensity of wireless communication with a wireless tag held by the photographic target to estimate a position of the photographic target based on the acquired radio field intensity; a movement control unit that controls the movement of the moving body so that the moving body moves to the estimated position as a destination; and an imaging unit that takes an image of the photographic target when the moving body is located near the destination, associates the photographic image with a wireless tag ID designated by the request, and transmits the photographic image to an apparatus outside the moving body.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly achieve accurate reading of an image and miniaturization and thinning of an image reading apparatus in a high dimensional manner.SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus comprises: a carriage 3 mounted with an image reading sensor 2 thereon to cross in an extending direction of the image reading sensor 2 and to move in a scanning direction parallel to an original platen 1; and a drive unit including a DC motor 7 for scanning the carriage 3, idle gears 8 and 9 and a pinion gear 10 for transmitting driving force from the DC motor 7, an electric substrate 19 for supplying electric power to the DC motor 7, an encoder 15 mounted on the electric substrate 19 to detect rotation of the DC motor 7 and a connector 20 for receiving electric power to be supplied to the DC motor 7. The drive unit is intensively arranged in one direction of the scanning direction in relation to the image reading sensor 2 on the carriage 3 when viewed from a direction perpendicular to a surface of the original platen 1.
Abstract:
A scanner includes an apparatus main body, a stand, and a switching mechanism. The apparatus main body includes a transport unit that transports a document along a transport path, and a reading unit that reads an image of the document. The stand supports the apparatus main body. The switching mechanism switches the posture of the apparatus main body with respect to the stand so that the transport path extends along an intersecting direction intersecting an installation surface. The switching mechanism includes a switching motor that imparts a driving force to the apparatus main body when switching the posture. The switching motor is located inside the apparatus main body on the lower side of the transport path in the vertical direction.
