Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform post-processing adaptive to print setting by receiving image data aligned to a size corresponding to the same type of a sheet from a sender image processing apparatus. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a receiver side image processing apparatus which data-communicates with a sender side image processing apparatus, and has: a printing means which can print image data received from the sender side image processing apparatus using sheets of different sizes; a post-processing means which performs post-processing on a sheet printed from the printing means; a setting means which sets whether the post-processing means performs post-processing on the sheet; a determination means which determines whether setting to perform post-processing on sheets by the post-processing means has been performed by the setting means when an incoming call arrives from the sender side image processing apparatus; and a notification means which notifies size information representing a sheet size belonging to the same type as the capacity information of the receiver side image processing apparatus to the sender image processing apparatus when it is determined that the setting to perform post-processing on the sheet has been performed. Abstract:
An internet facsimile apparatus and data communication apparatus that can directly exchange capability information of sender and receiver sides and maximize the capability of both sides is provided, by obtaining an IP address of a destination terminal based on the input e-mail address, and by directly transmitting the e-mail to the destination terminal using the IP address of the destination terminal without using mail servers. Also, using the IP address of the destination terminal, a connection is established with the destination terminal to execute a mail protocol that can exchange capability information. After obtaining the capability information of the destination terminal, data format of the sending data is converted to match the capability information of the destination terminal, and the sending data is transmitted by e-mail.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile communication system or the like which enables a transmission side to recognize the configuration of an image forming medium with a memory wherein an image based on image data from the transmitting side is formed. SOLUTION: A facsimile communication system 1 includes a facsimile device 3 of a transmitting side that transmits image data; a facsimile device 5 of a receiving side which forms an image based on the image data on the image forming medium 33A with the memory; and a notifying part 7 which notifies the contents of storage data stored in the memory 39 of the image forming medium with the memory wherein the above image is formed by the facsimile device of the receiving side to the facsimile device of the transmitting side. Abstract:
A communication terminal device includes a receiving unit, a printer unit, a selection registering unit, an extracting unit, and a determining unit. The receiving unit receives data. The printer unit prints an image onto printing paper according to the data received by the receiving unit. The selection registering unit registers a selection of whether or not to attach a storage medium, in which information can be electronically written, to the printing paper and to output the printing paper, by associating the selection with prescribed information. The extracting unit extracts the prescribed information from the data received by the receiving unit or data acquired in relation with transmission and reception of the data. The determining unit determines whether or not to attach the storage medium to the printing paper according to the selection registered in the selection registering unit by being associated with the prescribed information extracted by the extracting unit.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the neglection of incomprehensible communication specifications in normal communication specifications results, in no printing or printing of an image unexpected by a user. SOLUTION: A layout printing is designated to an upper layer from a camera, and in its lower layer, a print command to designate a frame printing is sent to a printer. Consequently, the printer determines a layout printing to print a plurality of images on a single sheet by the upper layer (S122), and obtains details of the layout when the printer determines the lower layer of the command (S123), while the printer determines as a normal frame printing, when it cannot determine the lower layer of the command (S124). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system that allows a transmitter side and a receiver side to directly exchange information of their communication capabilities so as to transmit mail by maximally utilizing both the communication capabilities. SOLUTION: An Internet facsimile IFAX terminal acquires an IP address of a destination terminal 71 on the basis of a received electronic mail address and uses the IP address of the destination terminal 71 to directly transmit electronic mail to the destination terminal 71 not through mail servers 77, 78. Further, the IFAX terminal uses the IP address of the destination terminal 71 to establish a connection with the destination terminal 71, executes a mail protocol to exchange the capability information and acquire the capability information of the destination terminal 71, converts a data form of transmission data to match the data capacity with the capability information of the destination terminal 71 and then transmits the transmission data by means of electronic mail.
