Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method for evaluating the creep resistance of the surface of an optical recording medium with good reproducibility, high efficiency, and high accuracy.SOLUTION: The test method includes a load step in which an optical recording medium 1 is placed on a smooth pedestal 13, a nonwoven cloth 2 is put thereon, and the optical recording medium 1 is subjected to a predetermined load for a predetermined time through the nonwoven cloth 2. Before and after the load step, recording and reproducing characteristics of the optical recording medium 1 are measured, to thereby evaluate the creep resistance of the surface of the optical recording medium. In the load step, the optical recording medium 1 is heated.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of optical recording medium with improved manufacturing efficiency, and a manufacturing equipment of the same.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an optical recording medium including a plurality of recording layers on a substrate and an intermediate layer with a concavo-convex shape between the recording layers has a process of forming the intermediate layer which comprises at least; a first step of applying a radiation curable resin material in between a radiotransparent stamper and a substrate with the recording layers and putting the radiotransparent stamper on the substrate with the recording layers; a second step of extending the radiation curable resin material by rotating the radio transparent stamper and the substrate with the recording layers in an opposite direction respectively while applying pressure to them in a direction approaching each other; a third step of irradiating the radiation only to a vicinity of a center hole of the substrate to harden the radiation curable resin material; and a fourth step of bonding the radiation curable resin material and the substrate with the recording layers by rotating the substrate with the recording layers and the radiotransparent stamper and hardening the radiation curable resin material concurrently.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium having a label layer on which the user can repeatedly erase the writing and written trace without affecting the information recorded on the information recording layer. SOLUTION: This invention relates to an information recording medium, including: an information recording layer 102 in which information can be recorded or reproduced by radiating light; and a label layer 106. The label layer contains an electron-donating color developing organic compound, an electron-accepting compound and a solvent, and is used for writing with water-erasable ink and for water-erasing the written trace of the water-erasable ink. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method on an optical recording medium which is compatible with higher speed optical recording (double speed or higher) using blue laser beams. SOLUTION: Recording is made onto the optical recording medium which contains a complex compound having a hydrazide ligand expressed by a formula (1) and a transition metal cation in a recording layer by using laser beams of 350 to 530 nm wavelength in a high speed recording condition of double speed or higher of an HD-DVD standard. In the formula (1), a ring A is an aromatic ring, R 1 to R 4 denote a hydrogen atom or a substituent respectively, R 5 denotes a substituent, X denotes an atom in group XIV to XVI of the periodic table, and at least either of Y 2 and Y 3 that Y 1 and X has is a specific sensitivity improving substituent.
