SOLUTION: A storage part 21b of a housing 21 of an actuator 3 is provided with a knob lever 27 which is coupled to a locking/unlocking means so as to enable the locking/unlocking means to switch between a locking state and an unlocking state by virtue of locking/unlocking operations of a locking/unlocking operation knob provided on an in-car side, and an inside lever 32 to which an outside lever is coupled so as to be movable in a release direction, by virtue of a door opening operation of an inside door handle provided on the in-car side.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with an electromagnetic clutch capable of reducing its whole size by including a small-sized speed reduction mechanism consisting of a worm and a worm wheel. SOLUTION: The motor 10 with the electromagnetic clutch comprises the worm 27 formed on a reversibly rotatable motor shaft 26, the worm wheel 35 engaged with the worm 27, and the electromagnetic clutch 40 which interrupts power transmission of the motor shaft 26 by linkage to the worm wheel 35. An outer gear 35a of the worm wheel 35 is engaged with the worm 27, and an outer gear 36a of an annular torque transmission plate 36 is engaged with an inner gear 35b, so that an axial direction of the worm wheel 35 and an attracting and separating directions of an output shaft side clutch plate 47 of the electromagnetic clutch 40 are made equal to directions. An outside spline 43a of a forefront outer periphery of an input shaft 43 of the electromagnetic clutch 40 is engaged with an inside spline 36b of the torque transmission plate 36, so that the worm wheel 35 is made movable in the axial direction through the torque transmission plate 36 against the outside spline 43a of the input shaft 43.
