    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid exhaust gas loss in a dumper mechanism by composing a dumper mechanism of at least one gas flue flap, and positioning the pivot axis of the flue gas flap approximately perpendicular to the base of a power station plant. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas from a gas turbine 41 is selectively introduced into either a heat exchanger or an exhaust gas draft 9, through a flue gas path 1 and a dumper mechanism positioned at downstream. In this type, the dumper mechanism is composed of at least one flue gas flap 2. And the pivot axis 3 of the flue gas flap 2 is positioned approximately perpendicular to the base of the power station plant. Therefore the flue gas flap 2 is secured at respective position by the positive pressure in the flue gas path 1. This allows a seal effect to be obtained. The driving device required for the swing of the flue gas flap 2 will be significantly simplifier with this structure.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a short-circuit current to be at most the breakdown limit of an electric device or passive elements of a circuit which are to be protected, by connecting a PTC resistor with a parallel circuit to a varistor of a bypass resistor branch. SOLUTION: A bypass resistor branch 6 is connected in parallel with a PTC resistor 5 via a main current circuit. The bypass resistor branch 6 is a series circuit constituted of a varistor 7, an ohmic resistor 8, and a choke or an inductor 30. In the case of an error or a short circuit, the PTC resistor 5 generates heat, and exceeds its response temperature. As a result, the resistance of the PTC resistor 5 is largely increased, and limits a current. A short-circuit current is made to flow in the bypass current branch 6, so that thermal breakdown of the PTC resistor 5 is avoided. Thereby the short-circuit current can be limited within 10μs, i.e., the value lower than or equal to the breakdown limit of an electric device or passive elements of a circuit which are to be protected.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common turn-off circuit for a thyristor power converter. SOLUTION: A common turn-off circuit 1 is suitable for an AC converter especially for connecting a railroad network, for example. Turn-off thyristors (TL+, TL-) are connected directly to the secondary winding of a transformer 7. Further, the circuit is provided with specific free wheel paths (DF, RF) to extract an energy accumulated in an inductor especially for a transformer or a related inductor. The circuit 1 has a function to complete a turn-off operation automatically, so that all thyristors for a power converter 2 can be turned off securely and without special preventive measures. Further, the overvoltage can be prevented thanks to the special free wheel paths.

SOLUTION: In an operation method of a power generation plant composed of a gas turbo group I, a steam generating stage II composed of an exhaust heat steam generator 15 and a steam circulating passage, a liquid quantity increased by exceeding 100% circulates in a heat exchanging stage 15a to function in a lower temperature range of the exhaust heat steam generator 15. A part exceeding 100% of this liquid quantity evaporates at least in a single pressure stage 26 by being separated in a place of an end part of the heat exchanging stage 15a. In the next place, steam 37 generated in the pressure stage is supplied to a steam turbine 17 in a proper place. A still hot liquid quantity 36 arriving from the pressure stage is supplied in a degassing machine, and steam 38 generated inside of these is supplied to another steam turbine 18 in a proper place.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of an advantageous operation by bearing melting equipment so that it is rotatable only at a first rotational angle around a first point of rotation and that it is rotatable only at a second rotational angle around a second point of rotation. SOLUTION: A first electrode 5 and a reaction medium supply conduit 12 are put in and taken out through the same guide port of a cover 4 in time sequence during an operation. Melting equipment is made rotatable only at a first prescribed rotational angle β around a first point 19 of rotation located just below the bottoms of the lower parts of reaction vessels 1 and 2. Besides, it is so borne as to be rotatable only at a second prescribed rotational angle αaround a second point 20 of rotation located in the sphere of the centers of supply lines 5 and 12 which can be put in and taken out, within the extent of the cover 4 in a hood 3 of the melting equipment. According to this constitution, two melting equipment can be operated simultaneously and it is possible to make one conduct a converter operation and the other an arc operation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the efficiency of a low pressure steam turbine connected to a condenser and reduce its manufacturing cost by setting a divided plane between an upper part and a lower part of an outer casing to the height of an axis of a turbine rotor, and making the concrete foundation reach the divided plane. SOLUTION: A divided plane 8 between an upper part 6 and a lower part 7 of an outer casing is positioned at the height of an axis 9 of a turbine rotor 4, and the concrete foundation 14 reaches the divided plane 8. The lower part 7 of the outer casing 1 and a support place 10 of the turbine rotor 4 are fixed to the concrete foundation 14. The outer casing 1 is opened on at least one side horizontally at a right angle to the axis 9 of the turbine rotor 4, and a condenser is connected to an opening. The upper part 6 is formed of an assembled hood 19 and a frame part, and the frame part is connected to the condenser and the lower part 7. The hood 19 is connected to the lower part 7 and the frame part, and the frame part is disposed between the condenser and the hood 19.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus which is released electrically from a converter circuit device and which detects the triggering of a switch for the converter circuit device operated independently by a method wherein the apparatus is coupled electromagnetically and a voltage which is guided to a current-limiter conductor when the switch is triggered is detected. SOLUTION: A conductor loop 5 is arranged at the end part of a current- limiter coil Lb. The conductor loop 5 is coupled magnetically to the coil Lb having a mutual inductance M. A triggering generates a current change at the coil Lb, and, as a result, a flux change is generated. The flux change guides a voltage to the conductor loop 5. The voltage is detected in a detection circuit which is connected to the conductor loop 5, and it is evaluated by a downstream-side connection evaluation circuit. Thereby, an apparatus is released electrically from a converter circuit device, and it is possible to detect the triggering of a coil for the converter circuit device which is operated independently.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid exergy loss in an extraction chamber by providing a diffuser extending almost radially, inside an extraction chamber, and setting the outflow radius of the diffuser within a specific range. SOLUTION: An extraction chamber 7 is provided inside with a diffuser wall 20 directly behind an extraction opening 6, continuously with it. The diffuser wall 26 along with an outflow side extraction chamber wall 9 forms a diffuser 23 provided with a diffuser outlet 26. The ratio R2/R1 of an outlet radius R2 to an inlet radius R1 is to be larger than 1.3. The ratio of running length L to extraction width H is at least 10. A deflection grid 24 is additionally fitted to the diffuser wall 20 at the diffuser outlet of the diffuser 23. Marked exergy loss can be avoided by thus incorporating the diffuser 23 in the extraction chamber 7.

The fixing member comprises high temperature resistant ceramic. The wall plate is protruded toward the metal support wall in a region of the openings, and the fixing member is combined with a specific holding apparatus resiliently.
