    Abstract: A subsea electrical power distribution system including a first chamber (20) housing a transformer, a second chamber (30) housing a power distribution system with busbars (32) for distribution of power to individual consumers connected to said busbars via connectors (33). The interface between the first and second chamber includes a flexible membrane (22) allowing the oil in the first chamber to expand into the second chamber and vice versa. The second chamber being connected to an external volume expansion chamber (34) allowing the pressure in the second chamber to balance against the pressure of the ambient sea.

    Abstract: A tool for handling submarine conduits for coupling of such a sub-marine conduit to a sea bottom based installation, of the kind wherein the tool includes a downwardly open gripper or yoke for holding the conduit in connection with the coupling, and winch equipment for hauling the submarine conduits. The yoke (26) is designed with opposed, parallel side wall sections (28, 28), the spacing between which is conformed to the diameter or transverse dimension of the submarine conduit, and in that the yoke is forcibly displaceable between a rearward pull-in position and a forward coupling position in a supporting frame (14), and in that the winch equipment (16) including a pulling cable (24) is mounted directly on the displaceable yoke (26) or optionally on the supporting frame (14) above the yoke.

    Abstract: A power supply assembly, which is placed subsea and is connected to an umbilical from a platform, supplies electrical power to subsea equipment. The power supply assembly supplies power during drilling operations to a pump for pumping drilling fluid from the sea floor to the sea surface. During production operations, the power supply assembly provides power to a booster pump to pump the well fluid away from the subsea well for collection. The subsea power supply assembly optionally also provides power to electrically charged portions of subsea separators that remove water from the oil in the well fluid. The booster pump the pumps the oil from the separator away from the subsea wellhead for collection.

    Abstract: An arrangement and a method for use in installation procedures for subsea transformers. A central, hole or tube is included in an encapsulation enclosing a transformer that is to be installed. Three core elements of the transformer are arranged symmetrically around the hole or tube forming a triangle or a delta. The transformer is lowered towards a a foundation placed on the sea floor wherein a guide pin is mounted. When the transformer has found its way to the foundation, the guide pin will enter the tube, and the transformer will slide down onto the guide line pin. The tube is terminated by a funnel shaped opening, thus making it easier not to miss the guide pin by the tube opening. The transformer is horizontally oriented by means of orientation keys localized within the tube.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for removing solids from a fluid containment space, said device comprising a hood (11) arranged or intended to be arranged at a bottom surface of a fluid containment space, at least one inlet opening (14a) and at least one outlet opening (20a) being provided on a first side (15a) of the hood. The hood (11) is provided with means (21) for directing fluids through the respective outlet opening (20a) on said first side (15a) of the hood from an inner space (16) of the hood to a fluid containment space exterior of the hood in an essentially horizontal direction or in a direction towards the bottom surface of a fluid containment space. Flushing means for directing flushing fluid toward the at least one outlet opening 20a is provided wherein the flushing means may be jet nozzles 19a, 19b. Advantageously the device may be utilized in the production of crude oil especially for solids removal from separator vessels.
