Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of using a small size inflator such as a micro gas generator (MGG) and contributing to reduction of cost of the whole of a device. SOLUTION: The waist restraint device relating to the present invention is provided with a gas feeding means for feeding an inflation gas at occurrence of impact; a bag made of web stored at a lower part of a sitting part of a seat (hereinafter referred to as "seat cushion") in the compression state and upwardly inflated/deployed by the inflation gas; and a frame member arranged at a lower part of the seat cushion, upwardly moved by deployment of the bag made of web and pushing up the seat cushion to restrict a neighborhood to the pelvis of the occupant. Further, the frame member is formed to a C shape that an opened portion is directed to a front side of the vehicle and is constituted such that a side at an opposite side to the opened portion is positioned near the occupant's pelvis. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily inspect whether a bar code is properly printed or not by visual observation. SOLUTION: The bar code label 11 has a bar code 12 printed on a surface thereof, the bar code having a stripe pattern by a plurality of bars 12a and spaces 12b. An auxiliary print part 13 continued substantially at a right angle to the printing direction is simultaneously printed with the bar code 12 on a printing directional extension in the print area of the bar code 12. The length substantially right-angled to the printing direction of the auxiliary print part 13 is set longer than the print area of the bar code 12, and print failure confirmation lines 14 longer than the printing directional length of the auxiliary print part 13 are formed at both end substantially right-angled to the printing direction in the auxiliary print part 13. Consequently, even if the bar code includes a thin spot or print omission part, the auxiliary print part located on the extension in the printing direction of the thin spot or print omission part is visually observed, whereby a print failure can be easily detected. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of surely reducing a neck damage value without hindering occupant constraining performance in an abnormal access and in normal sitting. SOLUTION: This airbag device has an airbag housed in the state possible to be inflated for deployment in front of an occupant. The airbag has a center chamber positioned near a central part on the occupant side in the inflated state and side chambers positioned on a right and a left sides of the center chamber. The airbag device is provided with a gas supply section for supplying inflating gas into the side chambers and a means for leading the inflating gas into the center chamber with a delay from the side chambers. Furthermore, the side chamber has a gas lead-in space, into which the inflating gas from the gas supply section is to be led, an upper space extended upward from the gas lead-in space, and a lower space extended downward from the gas lead-in space. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent excessive restriction force from being applied to an occupant in emergency such as collision and to reduce attacking nature to the occupant. SOLUTION: The airbag device provided with an inflator and an airbag 1 is constituted. In this case, the airbag 1 has two or more of airbag bags 2, 3 arranged in series in a direction that the occupant M intrudes to the airbag 1 in deployment. Further, the airbag bags 2, 3 are bonded through an intermediate retaining body 5. Even further, the airbag bags 2, 3 are constituted such that wrinkles 2a, 3a are formed at a bonding part 4. Thus, they are formed so as to also suppress tension of airbag fabric in addition to control of a gas internal pressure in the airbag. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the air-tightness of a conventional type airbag. SOLUTION: This multiple chamber type airbag comprises a first material layer 11, a second material layer 12, and a third material layer 13, the three material layers being integrally woven at their end portions 30. In a first section 31, only the first material layer 11 is integrally woven into the third material layer 13. In a second section 32, only the second material layer 12 is integrally woven into the third material layer 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection system at low cost capable of effectively protecting an occupant from his/her head injury and being thrown out of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This occupant crash protection system includes first protection devices each of which includes an extension cloth housed in the vicinity of the edge of a vehicle window and developing in a curtain shape toward the inside of the vehicle by which he/she is protected from at least being thrown out of the vehicle; and a second protection device which protects his/her head sitting at least on a seat by expansively developing at the side thereof. The extension cloth has a single-layer region composed of a sheet of cloth and this single layer region is formed so as to be developed over the position corresponding to that of the occupant who is protected by the second protection device. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device, stabilizing the inflation direction of an airbag even if the airbag is inflated upward from the lower side of a window. SOLUTION: This airbag device includes an air bag stored in a storing part 82 provided along the edge of a window 19 on the interior of a cabin of a lower panel 16 of the window 19 and inflated upward along the inner surface of the window 19. The airbag 78 is provided with a plurality of cells 91a to 91f arranged in the lateral direction, and at the time of inflation so that at the time of inflation, the lower parts of the cells 91b to 91e overlap the panel 16 at a predetermined distance in the vertical direction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping structure of a seat cushion air bag device for vehicle capable of precluding gas leakage, securing smooth coupling of coupling piping with a plurality of inflator bags, securing cost-down and good easiness in assembling work owing to its simple component structure, and supplying high pressure gas from the inflator in distribution properly to the inflator bags. SOLUTION: The piping structure of the seat cushion air bag device for the vehicle is equipped with the coupling piping in which the coupling end 7a is inserted to a gas lead-in hole 5 of a pair of inflator bags 4 and the inflator are attached to the body of the coupling piping and which supplies the gas in distribution to the inflator bags and a seal packing 8 formed from a resilient material in a ring shape, installed between the gas lead-in hole of the inflator bags and the coupling end of the coupling piping, and put in tight attachment between the gas lead-in hole and the coupling end while the outside diameter is increased by the inserting operation of the coupling end. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor for a seat belt and a seat belt device which constantly performs a collision prediction control, aims to provide a comfortable wearing feeling of seat belt by winding webbing with a constantly fixed size of power in accordance with situations in an ordinary time in which there is no possibility of crash, and can protect occupants by controlling to wind the webbing rapidly with a larger driving power than the fixed size in emergency in which a crash is predicted. SOLUTION: The retractor for seat belt 100 is further comprised of a crash prediction means 120 for determining possibility of crash, and an operational environment detection means for detecting an operational environment of an electric motor 110. The electric motor 110 for winding the webbing controls current quantity supplied to the electric motor 110 to be a predetermined current value based on the operational environment detected by the operational environment detection means in a situation in which a crash can be avoided. The electric motor 110 controls the current quantity supplied to the electric motor 110 to be larger than the predetermined current value without depending on the operational environment detected by the operational environment detection means in a situation in which the crash cannot be avoided.
