Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of fabricating a p-i-n type light emitting diode using p-type ZnO, and particularly, a technique for fabricating a p-type ZnO thin film doped with copper, a light emitting diode manufactured using the same, and its application to electrical and magnetic devices. The method of fabricating a p-i-n type light emitting diode using p-type ZnO of the current invention includes depositing a low-temperature ZnO buffer layer on a sapphire single-crystal substrate, depositing an n-type gallium doped ZnO layer on the deposited low-temperature ZnO buffer layer, depositing an intrinsic ZnO thin film on the deposited n-type gallium doped ZnO layer, forming a p-type ZnO thin film layer on the deposited intrinsic ZnO thin film, forming a MESA structure on the p-type ZnO thin film layer through wet etching to obtain a diode structure, and subjecting the diode structure to post-heat treatment.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to bicyclic tetrahydrofuran derivatives and a preparation method thereof. Particularly the present invention relates to a process of preparing the above compounds by performing an intramolecular cyclization of tetrahydrofuran-allenol derivatives in the presence of alcohol compound, transitional metal catalyst and carbon monoxide.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a water-cooled grate, which can be cooled while avoiding high and low temperature corrosions. The water-cooled grate comprises: at least one cooling pipe for guiding flow of cooling water; a grate body for placing waste matters to be burned, said grate body being formed with a pipe-receiving portion for receiving the cooling pipe; and a heat transfer controlling member fixed to the pipe-receiving portion for increasing and decreasing heat transfer between the grate body and the cooling pipe by varying thermal resistance to the cooling pipe through thermal deformation according to temperature change of the grate body.
Abstract:
There is provided a bearingless step motor in which a rotating shaft can rotate while rising from a main body by a magnetic force without using a mechanical bearing. The bearingless step motor comprises a stator including stator cores having winding portions and a rotor including a rotating shaft and rotor cores. The rotor rotates by a magnetic interaction between the rotor cores and the stator cores. A first permanent magnet is mounted to the rotor and a second permanent magnet is mounted to the stator. The first permanent magnet and the second permanent magnet are arranged so that a repulsive force is generated between magnetic poles. There is little power consumption for raising the rotating shaft and a complicated system for controlling the rise of the rotating shaft is unnecessary. Thus, the motor can be manufactured with a light and compact structure.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation method of xylylenediamine using imidazoles as a solvent, more particularly to a preparation of xylylenediamine by the hydrogenation of phthalonitrile under ammonia atmosphere, wherein an imidazole, which is chemically stable and highly soluble in phthalonitrile, is used as a reaction solvent to significantly reduce the amount of ammonia and obtain high-purity xylylenediamine under mild reaction conditions with high yield.
Abstract:
An automatic vision display apparatus has a flight object having a floating gas filled therein to fly, flying along a vertical wall surface and including a screen mounted at an opposite side to the vertical wall surface; a propulsion unit mounted at a predetermined position of the flight object and moving the flight object; a control unit mounted to the flight object and controlling the propulsion unit; a projector projecting an image on the screen of the flight object at a distance from the flight object; an adjusting unit adjusting an image projecting direction of the projector; and a main control unit controlling the projector to project the image and controlling the adjusting unit so that the projector tracks a movement of the flight object to project an image. According to the invention, it is possible to project an image while automatically tracking the screen of the flight object being flying. In addition, it is possible to correct a distortion of the projected when the screen of the flight object consists of the three dimensional curved surface.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a non-volatile phase change memory cell containing an electrode contact layer disposed between a metal electrode layer and a phase change material layer, the electrode contact layer being formed of a transparent conducting oxide-based material which has a high electric conductivity, a low thermal conductivity and a good thermal stability. A non-volatile phase change memory cell according to the present invention may be utilized to reduce the electric power needed for reset and set operation.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a ceramic catalyst containing a metal oxide having absorption and disintegration properties for vapor phase compounds prepared from a porous ceramic material, water-soluble metal salt, and optionally a combustible material, and a preparation method thereof comprising the step of mixing a porous ceramic material with a water-soluble metal salt and firing to a metal oxide generated from the metal salt uniformly dispersed in a ceramic material. The ceramic catalyst can absorb and disintegrate vapor phase composition even at a low temperature of lower than 100 ° C, especially, at an ordinary room temperature of approximately 25 °C, without light assistance .

Abstract:
An image processing method obtains a glassless image from a color frontal facial image bearing glasses by using a recursive principal component analysis (PCA) reconstruction. The image processing method comprises the steps of a) receiving an RGB color frontal facial image; b) extracting candidates of eye regions from the received RGB color frontal facial image; c) determining an exact eye region out of the candidates and normalizing the received RGB color frontal facial image; d) extracting a glasses frame region by using color information contained in the received RGB color frontal image and edge information of a glasses frame; e) performing an RGB-HIS transformation on the normalized frontal facial image; f) generating H’, S’, and I’ glassless compensated images; g) obtaining R’, G’, and B’ compensated images by performing an HIS-RGB transformation on the H’, S’, and I’ glassless compensated images; and h) creating a glassless final color facial image on the basis of the R’, G’, and B’ compensated images.
