Abstract: A hand vacuum cleaner comprises a main body comprising an upper end having a dirty air inlet, a lower end, a front end and a rear end, the main body housing a suction motor and fan assembly, the suction motor and fan assembly having a suction motor axis of rotation; a cyclone unit 112 comprising a cyclone 160 and a dirt collection chamber 164, the cyclone having a cyclone axis of rotation (484, fig 18), a front end having a cyclone air inlet 180, a longitudinally spaced apart rear end having a cyclone air outlet 184, and a sidewall having an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the cyclone axis of rotation extends between the front end and the rear end of the cyclone and when the cyclone axis is oriented horizontally, the cyclone air inlet is in the upper portion of the sidewall of the cyclone and the dirt collection chamber is underneath the cyclone; and wherein when the hand vacuum cleaner is oriented with the cyclone underneath the upper end, the cyclone axis of rotation is generally horizontal. Also disclosed is a hand vacuum with an air treatment member and a dirty air inlet comprising an inlet passage that extends longitudinally between an inlet end and an outlet end and has a longitudinal passage axis, the outlet end of the inlet passage communicates with the air treatment member air inlet.

Abstract: An extruder includes an extruder barrel module, an extruder feeder module, a screw motor module, and an electronics module. The extruder barrel module includes an axially extending barrel in which an extruder barrel screw is removably receivable. The extruder feeder module is removably connectable to the extruder barrel module, and has an axially extending flow passage having a feedstock outlet end and a screw motor module mounting end. The screw motor module is removably connectable to the extruder feeder module, and has a motor drivingly connectable with a screw in the flow passage of the extruder feeder module. The electronics module is electrically connectable with the screw motor module and mechanically removably mounted as part of the extruder.

Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus includes a floor cleaning unit and a portable surface cleaning unit. The portable surface cleaning unit is connectable to the floor cleaning unit, and includes a portable surface cleaning unit air inlet connectable in air flow communication with the floor cleaning unit air outlet, a main body, an air treatment member, a suction motor, a handle and a capacitor. When fully charged, the energy storage member stores sufficient stored power to recharge the capacitor at least twice.

Also disclosed is a hand vacuum with an air treatment member and a dirty air inlet comprising an inlet passage that extends longitudinally between an inlet end and an outlet end and has a longitudinal passage axis, the outlet end of the inlet passage communicates with the air treatment member air inlet.

The ambient energy distribution system extends between first and second locations in the domicile and is isolated from fluid flow communication with the first distribution system. The ambient energy distribution system transfers heat between the first and second locations.

Abstract: A puller apparatus has a path through which an extrusion travels downstream from an outlet of an extruder and upper and lower extrusion puller members that define a portion of the path. At least one of the extrusion puller members is a drive member to provide forward motion to an extrusion. A mounting arm is moveably mounted to the puller apparatus at a mounting location. The mounting arm has a first portion on one side of the mounting location and a second portion on an opposed side of the mounting location. The upper extrusion puller member is mounted to the first portion of the mounting arm.
