PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display of a type to be attached to spectacles. SOLUTION: The head mounted display 1 includes: a case 10 incorporating a display; and a free curved surface prism 20. The head mounted display 1 is used by attaching the case 10 to the bridge 105 of the spectacles 100. The case 10 incorporating the display, and the free curved surface prism 20 are connected to be arranged side by side in a lateral direction as seen from a user when the user wears the spectacles 100. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables a user using a personal computer, a TV, or the like to recover fatigue without trouble. SOLUTION: A fatigue recovery support device has an image generation means which generates an image of a prescribed object moving back and forth in a horizontal direction on a screen of an image display device and displays the image of the object on the screen of the image display device, and the user looking down is caused to recover fatigue by following the image of the object by eyes. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-handle oral airway which is usable alone for inserting a tube to the trachea at the time of emergency. SOLUTION: The oral airway 100 is provided with an airway body 10 having an insertion part 11 and a CCD (charge coupled device), and a display device 20. The insertion part 11 is for securing the airway of a patient by being inserted from the mouth of the patient and is in a thin and long shape bent at the middle. On the side face of the insertion part 11, a groove 15 for guiding the tube 200, an LED (light emitting diode) 14 for illumination and an image guide for sending the image light of an image including the trachea illuminated by the LED 14 to the CCD are provided. The image picked up by the CCD is displayed at the display device 20. A user inserts the tube 200 to the trachea by letting the groove 15 guide it while looking at the image. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide attachment having compact constitution capable of easily deciding a focal position and an image pickup range in the case of picking up the image of an image pickup object having standardized shape like a name card by a cellular phone with a camera or a digital camera. SOLUTION: The attachment 1 is constituted to have a base 10 on which the cellular phone with the camera 40 is attachably/detachably fixed in a state where a camera lens is exposed downward, and an abutting part 20 fixing an optical distance from the name card 100 to the camera lens so that the focal position by the camera lens in a state where the abutting part 20 partially abuts on a surface where the card 100 being the image pickup object is arranged may be located at the image pickup feasible position of an imaging means. By making the abutting part 20 partially abut on the surface where the card 100 is arranged, the image pickup range suitable for the card 100 is decided. The attachment 1 is set in card shape when it is not used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system to enable a patient to undergo simple diagnosis or cure any time at any place other than a hospital. SOLUTION: A terminal is connected to a prescribed imaging device and receives image data therefrom. The imaging device takes an image on an object site of a prescribed site on a user' s body. The terminal is connected with a prescribed display to display a movie image G2 on the screen in real time based on image data. An image in the movie image at an instant can be selected as a static image. The terminal records static image data on static images taken in the past and is enabled to display on the screen a static image G1 taken in the past based on the static image data. The user can compare both images to raise identity of imaging positions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case allowing a camera in a camera-equipped mobile phone to capture an image with higher magnification factor than the magnification factor with which the camera can originally take images and assisting power supply.SOLUTION: A camera case 1 includes a body section 2 which serves as a case for covering a front surface of a mobile phone A. In the body section 2, a lens holding section 3 containing a magnifying lens 31a is mounted. The lens holding section 3 can be vertically moved via a movable member 24 relative to the body section 2. When the lens holding body 3 is positioned at a first position on an upper side, the magnifying lens 31a is positioned in front of a lens D of the mobile phone A so that an enlarged image can be captured. When the lens holding body 3 is positioned at a second position on a lower side, a front side of the lens D of the mobile phone A is opened. The body 2 contains a battery 4, which can be used as the power supply of the mobile phone A.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for magnification post-installed on a camera that can obtain an image with high magnification without including a portion having no image.SOLUTION: An attachment for magnification includes an objective lens 21A for magnification, a field lens 21B forming a light passed through the objective lens 21A into a parallel light, and a convergence lens 21C converging the parallel light on a camera lens 42. The light passed through the convergence lens 21C is converged on a pupil 42X of the camera lens 42 installed on a camera at a solid angle beyond a view angle of the camera lens 42.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for affording a wider image angle to a rod lens than that of previous ones. SOLUTION: The surface on one end side of the rod lens is formed in a concave surface to widen the image angle obtained by the rod lens. Such a rod lens 2 is made of thermoplastic resin and can be obtained by working a flat one end side surface 2a of the rod lens 2 having a flat edge molded by the conventional manufacturing method into the concave surface corresponding to a convex surface by pushing the flat one end side surface 2a of the rod lens 2 against the heated convex surface of a die member.
