    Abstract: PURPOSE:To test an object by irradiating it uniformly with intense energy rays. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a testing tank 1 is sectioned in the horizontal direction by a glass filter 2. The lower part is used as a sample chamber and the upper part as a lamp chamber 4. A sample stage 6 is arranged a predetermined distance from the glass filter 2 in the sample chamber 3, onto which a sample 19 is mounted. A lamp 8 which is curved like a mountain to apply the uniform irradiance to the whole upper surface of the sample stage 6 is set a predetermined distance from the glass filter 2 in the lamp chamber 4. Moreover, a blower 11 of a cooling wind to cool the interior of the lamp chamber 4 and the lamp 8 is provided.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a heat aging testing machine which can accurately and easily be adapted to the number of substitution times within a wide range from a small number to a large number. CONSTITUTION:An air flow adjusting box 12 is set below a testing tank 2 and an air intake 14 and air discharge port 15 are provided to the box 12. Air blowers 18a and 18b which are directed in the same direction, have the same shape, and are constituted in the same rating are respectively installed to the intake 14 and port 15 and a connection pipe 19 for introducing outside air into the tank 2 is connected to the upper section of the box 12. In addition, the blowers 18a and 18b are respectively connected to blower rotation adjusters 20a and 20b for changing the rotating speeds of the blowers 18a and 18b and the blower 18b at the port 15 is connected to a rotating direction switch 21 for switching the rotating direction of the blower 18b. Moreover, the adjusters 20a and 20b and switch 21 are connected to a setter 22 for setting the number of substitution times.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To continuously measure four optical surface characteristics, that is, colorimetry, mirror surface gloss, luminous gloss and image clarity by one optical system without changing the measuring position of a sample. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 11a of a first irradiation device 2 is made movable up to a position not intercepting the parallel beam passing through a first light duct 9a and, in a case other than the case of colorimetry, the reflecting mirror 11a is moved to reflect the parallel beam by the third reflecting mirror 11c of a second irradiation device 19 so as to irradiate a sample 4 with the reflected beam and the beam of a second light duct 9b is intercepted by a shield plate 25. Further, an iris pattern plate 30 wherein the mirror surface gloss iris, luminous gloss iris and image clarity optical comb of a second photodetector 26 are integrated is constituted so as to be made movable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus for irradiating the plastic molded part provided in a car with infrared rays to reproduce the deterioration state of said part to perform the acceleration test thereof. CONSTITUTION:A test tank 3 is covered with an outer tank 15 so as to provide a definite space and the open air is introduced into the space to indirectly cool the test tank 3 and an infrared lamp 5 is provided in the lamp chamber 2 partitioned from the test tank 3 by a glass filter 1 and the chamber 2 is forcibly cooled by the open air to prevent heat other than the radiant heat due to the irradiation with the lamp 5 from entering the test tank 3. Since the temp. in the test tank 3 can be regulated in a windless state only of a natural convection, the atmosphere in a car hermetically closed under the blazing sun can be faithfully reproduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure colors simultaneously at several positions on a sample by causing the sample to discolor by a photochronism in an illuminating chamber, and then by rapidly moving the same into a dark room by a shifter so as to measure colors by a colorimeter having plural number of light emitting and receiving parts and incorporated in the dark room. CONSTITUTION:A sample 13 attached to a sample bed 11 is moved into an illuminating chamber 7 by rotating a shaft 12' by means of a rotary device 13. Light sources are illuminated for a predetermined time in the illuminating chamber 7 so as to uniformly irradiate the light onto to the sample which therefore discolors by a photochronism. Then, the shaft 12' is reversed so as to move the sample 3 from the illuminating chamber to a predetermined position in a dark room 9 in which a xenon flash lamp 18 is turned on so as to produce diffused light in an integrating sphere 17. The diffused light is led through introduction ports 22 of light emitting parts 4, and is then irradiated to color measuring positions on the sample 3 from irradiating ports 23. The light transmitted through the sample 3 is led, through light receiving parts 5 and light receiver 27, to a microcomputer 30 so as to obtain color-measured values.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the simple, instantaneous measurement of color sensation in metallic painting and the like by arbitrarily selecting an incident angle and a light receiving angle in the vertical direction with respect to the surface of a sample, measuring the values of colorimetry in various kinds of incident and light-receiving-angle conditions. CONSTITUTION:A fixing jig 7 has a semicircle ring shape. The center of the ring is the center of a measuring hole 3 of an outer case 11. The jig 7 is located on a plane including a normal line 4 within the surface which is orthogonal to a sample 1. Attaching holes 7a for attaching photodetectors 6a, 6b and 6c and a light source device 5 are formed at 11 places so that the holes are directed toward the center of the hole 3 at every 15 deg. to the right and left with the normal line 4 as a reference. The parallel luminous flux is emitted from the light source device 5 on the sample 1. The reflected light is received with the photodetectors 6a, 6b and 6c at the same time. The signal are guided into an operating device 10 through an A/D converter 8 and an amplifier 9. The value of colorimetry at the position of each photodetector is computed, and the color difference between the photodetectors is obtained. Thus, the color sensations in painting and the like are measured simply and quickly.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure an accurate transmission color by providing an optical axis adjusting mechanism which separates a light projection part and a photodetection part and aligns the optical axes of plural light emitting devices and light receiving devices, an adjusting jig for the interval between the projection part and photodetection part, and a sucking tool for fixing a sample in contact. CONSTITUTION:The interval adjusting jig 4 which is as thick as the sample is interposed between the light projection part 1 and photodetection part 2 and when fitting pins are fitted in fitting pin holes 16 and 16', the apertures 8 and 8' of the projection part 1 and photodetection part 2 and the center of the opening of the jig 4 are put on the same line, so that the centers of the projector 1 and photodetector 2 can be aligned with each other. When the sample is measured, the sample is placed at the position of the jig 4 and when the photodetector 2 is pressed against the sample, a suction ring 17 and a transparent glass plate 14 provided in a light guide 9' produce a vacuum to suck the sample. Here, the sample is applied to the projection part 1, the light emitting device 15 and light receiving device 19 are positioned, and when a pilot lamp 27 illuminates, it is judged that the optical axes of the projection part 1 and photodetection part 2 are aligned with each other. Thus, accurate transmitted light can be measured.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reproduce and test the corrosion phenomenon approximate to the actual state of use by mixing rock salt component-contg. water with artificial snow to put the snow into a sherbet state, spraying the mixture to a test material or immersing the material therein, and further combining the same with a corrosion factor. CONSTITUTION:The rock salt component liquid is sprayed from a nozzle 6 onto the artificial snow covering the sample 3 to create the sherbet-like snow. The sample 3 is held immersed therein. Further, hot wind is sent from a temp. and humidity control device C consisting of a cooler, heater, humidity generator, blower, etc., to thaw and discharge the sherbet-like snow; thereafter, the sample 3 is dried or cooled. The test item, time, temp., humidity, cycle number, etc., are arbitrary controlled by a control section E. The corrosion phenomenon approximate to the actual state is reproduced in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To test a large amount of samples speedily without breaking the testing accuracy and the degree of freedom of the size of the sample by provid ing a plurality of light sources vertically in a testing tank. CONSTITUTION:A testing light source is obtained by aligning two upper and lower xenon lamps 1 on a vertical line passing approximately the center of a testing tank 2. A pair of sample holding frames 4 for setting a sample 3 are rendered independently rotatable around the respective light sources 1. A spray nozzle tube 5 is provided between each light source 1 and sample holding frame 4 to spray water to the surface of the sample 3, so that the whole surface of the sample rotating around the light source 1 can be uniformly sprayed. Moreover, a heater 6, a cooling device 7 and a humidity generating device 8 are provided adjacent to the test tank 2 to adjust the temperature and humidity within the tank 2. Accordingly, it becomes possible to simultaneous ly test under a plurality of combinations of conditions by one testing machine, and therefore shorten the testing time of various kinds of samples and achieve efficient testing.
