    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the sampling gap in the axial direction of a three-dimensional computed tomography system using discrete X-ray source element array in the axial direction. SOLUTION: Discrete x-ray elements and a detector are moved in parallel with a patient or an object in the z-axial direction. While the X-ray source array makes one revolution, it is moved in a parallel direction with the z-axial direction by a distance corresponding to the gap between the X-ray source elements arranged in the z-axial direction. The small parallel movement is designed in such a way that the axial plane passing through a row of the discrete X-ray sources is not distinguished from the axial plane crossing it.
