Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ligand for a receptor on the surface of CD4 + T-cell. SOLUTION: A specific binding partner for an ACT-4 receptor polypeptide is produced from hybridoma HBL106 deposited as ATCC HB11483, except a monoclonal antibody referred to as L106, has an amino acid sequence except an amino acid sequence represented by a specific sequence. And a nucleic acid segment encoding the specific binding partner is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer synthesis apparatus and method for building a polymer chain having a controlled sequence. SOLUTION: In the polymer synthesis method and apparatus (20), there are provided a head assembly (21) having a plurality of nozzles (22) connected to a tank (23) of a liquid reagent (24) and a base assembly (25) having a reaction well (26). A toxic fume generated from the reagent, which is discharged through a common chamber (31), is swept through an inlet (70) of the common chamber (31) set forth at an upper stream of the nozzles (22) and an outlet (71) of the common chamber (31) set forth at a down stream of the said nozzles (22). A pressure controlling device (82) is also provided for controlling a pressure difference between the pressure influenced upon the reaction well (26) and the pressure influenced upon an outlet (80) of an orifice (74), so that the reagent solution (76) can be removed when the pressure difference is beyond a predetermined value. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the sampling gap in the axial direction of a three-dimensional computed tomography system using discrete X-ray source element array in the axial direction. SOLUTION: Discrete x-ray elements and a detector are moved in parallel with a patient or an object in the z-axial direction. While the X-ray source array makes one revolution, it is moved in a parallel direction with the z-axial direction by a distance corresponding to the gap between the X-ray source elements arranged in the z-axial direction. The small parallel movement is designed in such a way that the axial plane passing through a row of the discrete X-ray sources is not distinguished from the axial plane crossing it. This reduces the issue of the system's z dependence and the sampling problem associated with it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ligand (ACT-4-L) for a receptor on the surface of an activated CD4 + T-cell. SOLUTION: A polypeptide is not a monoclonal antibody called L106 and produced from a hybridoma HBL 106, has an amino acid sequence (Figure 10-1 to Figure 10-2, not shown), and is a specific partner for a ACT-4 receptor polypeptide. And a soluble polypeptide is a specific binder capable of specifically binding to the ACT-4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
