Abstract: A toothpaste composition is provided to improve the tooth whitening effect and to enhance the cleaning effect. A toothpaste composition comprises a first material which comprises a peroxide a tooth whitening agent and purified silica; and a second material which comprises an alkali pH controller of a peroxide activator, purified silica and a metal catalyst, wherein the first material and the second material are filled into a dual container separately. The purified silica contains 5-20 wt% of the metallic impurities containing 50 ppm of iron, the metal catalyst contains 10-500 ppm of at least one selected from manganese sulfate, manganese gluconate and manganese citrate, and the toothpaste has a viscosity of 40,000-1,400,000 cps.

Abstract: A detergent composition for a toothbrush is provided to improve the sterilizing effect to bacteria by using a peroxide compound, thereby enhancing the hygiene of a toothbrush. A detergent composition for a toothbrush comprises 0.1-70 wt% of a peroxide; optionally 0.1-50 wt% of a pH controller; and optionally 0.1-10 wt% of a cleanser. Preferably the peroxide is at least one selected from the group consisting of potassium persulfate, sodium perborate, sodium percarbonate, hydrogen peroxide and urea peroxide.
