Abstract: PURPOSE: A toothpaste composition is provided to physically and chemically remove pigmented material on teeth and to suppress re-pigmentation on the teeth. CONSTITUTION: A toothpaste composition contains: 0.1-10.0 weight% of cleansing granule in which silica, calcium carbonate, aluminium hydroxide or kaolin; 0.1-1.0 weight% of pigment dissolving agent; and chelating agent. The pigment dissolving agent is limonene, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, glycol acid, or glutaric acid. The chelating agent is pyrophosphate salt.

Abstract: A tooth whitening gel composition is provided to be able to increase resistance against saliva, adhesion to the surface of teeth and contact time with whitening ingredients by immediately forming a non water soluble-film on the teeth after being applied thereto. The tooth whitening gel composition comprises at least one non water-soluble film forming agent selected from the group consisting of ethylcellulose, ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer, ethylene/acrylic acid/vinyl acetate(VA) copolymer and ethylene/propylene copolymer. The composition comprises 5-50 wt.% of the water-insoluble film forming agent, 0.5-20 wt.% of a whitening ingredient, 10-40 wt.% of an adhesive, 0.1-5 wt.% of a neutralizing agent, 0.01-3 wt.% of an emulsifier, 0.01-3 wt.% of a stabilizer and the remaining amount of a solvent.
