A composition for regulating melanogenesis, which contains RhoGDI-alpha is provided to efficiently promote or inhibit melanogenesis using siRNA gene which suppresses RhoGDI-alpha expression. A composition for regulating melanogenesis comprises a RhoGDI-alpha protein or gene coding the same or a complementary gene of RhoGDI-alpha gene. The composition for regulating melanogenesis inhibits the expressions of MITF and tyrosinase. The composition for regulating melanogenesis promotes the expression of MITF and tyrosinase. A screening method of the composition for regulating melanogenesis includes confirmation of regulation of RhoGDI-alpha expression, activation or function.

A skin aging diagnosis kit including a specific polynucleotide and a solid support is provided to rapidly diagnose a degree of skin aging by using a gene whose expression is increased or decreased in a fibroblast according to ages as a skin aging diagnostic marker. A skin aging diagnosis kit comprises a polynucleotide and a solid support. The polynucleotide includes ten or more continuous nucleotide selected from the group consisting of BOLA1, C16orf28, BCL2L2, CKS2, KIF26A, PRF1, STMN1, ORC6L, UBE2C, MELK, MAP3K14, CD59, ENC1, NDC80, TUBB6, K-ALPHA-1, HNRPA2B1, COL12A1, C16orf33 and LDHA. A screening method of anti-gray hair ingredient is provided to improve accuracy of screening, and reduce the time and expenses to be required for the screening, thereby efficiently preventing gray hair. The screening method of anti-gray hair ingredient comprises the steps of: treating the transformed cell line with the candidate anti-gray hair ingredient, and culturing the treated cell line in the culture medium; measuring the production amount of GLuc(Gaussia luciferase) gene existing in the culture medium; removing hairs from the back of vitiligo mouse and spreading the candidate anti-gray hair ingredient on the hair-removed back of mouse; and measuring the melanin amount in the new born hair from the back of vitiligo mouse, wherein the transformed cell line is produced by transforming a host cell line with an expression vector pMITF-GLuc containing microphtalmia-associated factor(MITF) promoter, GLuc gene, NeoR(neomycin resistant) gene and AmpR(ampicilin resistant) gene.

A skin whitening composition comprising D-aspartate is provided to inhibit melanogenesis effectively and stably without cytotoxicity and without side effects by inhibiting generation of proopiomelanocorin(POMC) from skin cells when applied to skin. A skin whitening composition comprises 0.01-20 wt.% of D-aspartate as an effective ingredient. The composition further comprises at least one whitening agent selected from the group consisting of kojic acid, arbutin, vitamin C and an extract of Broussonetia kazinoki.

PURPOSE: Provided is a composition for inhibiting phagocytosis containing Saururus Chinesis(Lour) Bail extract that effectively inhibits the phagocytosis of the keratinocyte activated by exposure to ultraviolet rays. Further, provided is a pharmaceutical composition which prevents and treats various kinds of diseases associated with phagocytosis. CONSTITUTION: A phagocytosis inhibiting composition is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, Saururus Chinesis(Lour) Bail extract in the amount of 0.0001-10 wt.%. It is used for prevention and treatment of phagocytosis related diseases.

PURPOSE: A method for screening a material which prevents gray hair using a transgenic cell line and a vitiligo model mouse(C57bl/6-Mitfmi-vit) and a composition containing the same are provided to simultaneously recognize MITF, tyrosinase, and TRP2 changes in gene, protein, and melanin levels. CONSTITUTION: A melan-a melanocyte cell line tyrosinase-GLuc(KCLRF-BP-00163) is prepared by transforming with an expression vector, pTyrosinase-GLuc. A method for screening a material which prevents gray hair comprises: a step of treating a candidate material which prevents gray hair to the transgenic melanocyte cell line; a step of measuring the production quantity of GLuc existing in a medium; a step of applying the candidate material onto the back of a vitiligo mouse; and a step of measuring the melanin quantity of newly grown hair from the back of vitiligo mouse.
