    Abstract: A combination electrode and a therapy device employing the combination electrode are used for performing ultrasonic and electrical stimulating treatment at the same site of a patient. The combination electrode comprises at least two electrode units (100, 200) and electrode wires (2). Each of the electrode units (100, 200) at least comprises an electrical pulse electrode (14, 24). At least an electrode unit (100, 200) comprises an electrical pulse electrode (14, 24) and an ultrasonic transducer (13, 23). The ultrasonic transducer (13, 23) contacts insulatively with the electrical pulse electrode (14, 24) face to face. The other surface of theelectrical pulse electrode (14, 24) is an outer electrically conductive surface. The ultrasonic transducer (13, 23) is inductively connected with an ultrasonic energizing circuit (11, 21) via a matching circuit (15, 25) and an isolating circuit (12, 22). The electrical pulse electrodes are divided into at least two groups that are insulative with each other. The electrical pulse electrodes in each group are connected in series or in parallel and the at least two groups of the electrical pulse electrodes are inductively connected with an electrical pulse energizing circuit (32) via an isolating circuit (31). The therapy device comprises a combination electrode, ultrasonic energizing circuits (11, 21), an electrical pulse energizing circuit (32), matching circuits (15, 25), and isolating circuits (12, 22, 31).
