Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric plug having a lamp switch is provided so that a lifespan of an electric product can be increased, generation of an electromagnetic wave can be reduced and power consumption can be reduced by turning off the electric product with the lamp switch. CONSTITUTION: A general plug is provided with a lamp switch, thus inventing an electric plug having a lamp switch. When the lamp switch is turned on, electricity is applied from a plus terminal line to a minus terminal line. Accordingly, plus electricity is applied to a lamp bulb, and thus the lamp bulb is turned on. On the other hand, the other line of the plus terminal line is connected to the switch of the electric product. Upon the user's request, the lamp switch can be turned on/off through an electric circuit. Therefore, when the user does not use the electric product, he/she can easily turn off the electric product by using the lamp switch, instead of plugging off the plug. By using the electric plug having the lamp switch, a lifespan of the electric product can be increased, a harmful electromagnetic wave can be reduced or prevented, and power consumption can be remarkably reduced.
