CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent compound is marked with chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, L is selected from the group consisting of a substituted or non-substituted C6~C30 arylene group, a substituted or non-substituted C3~C30 heteroarylene group, a substituted or non-substituted heterocycloalkylene group, a substituted or non-substituted heterocycloalkylene group fused with more than one aromatic ring, a substituted or non-substituted C3~C30 cycloalene, and other compounds.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent compound and an organic electroluminescent device including thereof are provided to secure the driving lifetime of the device by the improved lifetime property of the compound. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent compound is selected from the compounds marked with chemical formula 1~5. In the chemical formulas, X and Y are N(Ar1), O, or S. Z1~Z8 are selected from either C(Ar3) or N. An organic electroluminescent device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and an organic material layer inserted in between the first and second electrodes. The organic material layer includes the organic electroluminescent compound and more than one phosphor dopant.

    Abstract: An organic electroluminescent device is provided to exhibit a very good drive life due to excellent luminous efficiency and life characteristic of an organic electroluminescent compound. An organic electroluminescent device has an organic material layer interposed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode on a substrate. The organic material layer comprises at least one organic electroluminescent compound represented by the following formula 1 as a host. In the formula, A and B are, independently of each other, a chemical bond or C6-30 arylene, Ar1 and Ar2 are, independently of each other, phenyl, naphthyl, anthryl, or fluorenyl with or without at least one substituent selected from hydrogen, C1-20 linear or branched alkyl groups or alkoxy groups, C6-30 aryl or heteroaryl groups, and halogen groups, except that both of Ar1 and Ar2 are hydrogen.
