Abstract: PURPOSE: A process cartridge and an image forming apparatus are provided to maintain a developing nip between a developing roller and a photosensitive drum within a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION: A process cartridge is installed in an image forming apparatus and supplies a toner to a developing roller to develop a latent electrostatic image formed on a photosensitive drum(220). The process cartridge includes a drum cartridge(200), a toner cartridge(300), a holder(340). The drum cartridge is set in the image forming apparatus in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum such that the photosensitive drum is exposed to the outside. The toner cartridge is set in the image forming apparatus, corresponding to the drum cartridge, such that the developing roller is exposed to the outside. The holder is located on both sides of the toner cartridge, holds and guides the toner cartridge such that the developing roller is rectilinearly moved to the photosensitive drum. The toner cartridge controls developing nip between the photosensitive drum and the developing roller while rectilinearly moving to the holder in the direction of the photosensitive drum.
