PURPOSE: A device for supporting an aGPS(adaptive Grant and Polling Service) traffic class in a mobile communication system and a method thereof are provided to define an efficient network structure for supporting an aGPS service class in a WiMAX network system supporting IEEE 802.16m. CONSTITUTION: If it is needed to change QoS(Quality of Service), a controller(620) determines to transmit a packet with a changed QoS parameter to a base station. If there is not a DSC request from the base station, the controller uses a changed QoS parameter. A modem(610) transmits the packet to the base station. The modem receives a DSC request from the base station. Where there is a DSC request from the base station, the controller and the base station perform DSC through the modem.

PURPOSE: A method and a device thereof for providing a LBO service in a wireless communication system are provided to prevent a load to be concentrated to a femto gateway. CONSTITUTION: An access authentication procedure is performed between an authentication server and a terminal. A subscriber profile including LBO service flow information is received from an authentication server(600). An initial service flow between the terminal and a femto gateway is set. LBO service flow information is provided to the femto base station(604). Information informing that a LBO service flow from the femto base station is successfully set, is received(606).

PURPOSE: A registration and subscription method and a system for multicast and broadcast service in a broadband wireless access system are provided to offer the confidentiality and the reliability to users when the registration/service subscription method and the MCBCS service registration/subscription procedure. CONSTITUTION: A user greetings message is transmitted to the MCBCS(Multicast and Broadcast service) server in order to start registration(300). The server request message is received from the MCBCS server(306). After the server challenge message is received, the registration request message is transmitted(308). The registration reply message is processed/received(310). The user greeting message includes the SAID(Service Access Identifier), the extensions field, and the Action flag directing the registration/subscription.

본 발명은 광대역 무선접속 시스템에서 대화형 방송 서비스를 제공하기 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 콘텐츠 제공자로부터 단말 대화(Interaction) 요청 시점 인덱스(Index) 정보를 포함하는 콘텐츠 속성(attribute)과 해당 콘텐츠를 수신하는 과정과, 단말로 상기 콘텐츠를 전송한 후, 상기 단말 대화 요청 시점에서 상기 단말에게 상향링크 대역폭을 할당하기 위해 기지국으로 버스트 할당 요청(burst allocation request) 메시지를 전송하는 과정과, 상기 단말에게 할당된 상향링크 대역폭을 통해 상기 단말로부터 대화 정보(Interactive information)를 수신하는 과정을 포함하여, 콘텐츠 제작자 또는 서비스 제공자는 MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service : MBS) 서비스를 통해 다수의 수신자에게 응답을 요청하고, 이에 따른 응답을 수집하여 수집된 정보를 콘텐츠에 반영할 수 있 는 이점이 있다.

PURPOSE: A radio communication system supporting multicasting and a method thereof are provided to reduce delay time due to overlapped packets in a network when providing a multimedia data service. CONSTITUTION: A radio communication system supporting multicasting comprises a terminal(106) and a base station(104). The terminal receives an MCA-REQ(Multicast assignment request) message. The terminal checks an IP address of a multicast packet from the received MCA-REQ message. The terminal determines whether the checked IP address of the multicast packet is the same as an IP address of a service server which provides a multicast packet to be received. If the checked IP address of the multicast packet is the same as the IP address of the service server which provides a multicast packet to be received, a response signal corresponding to the received multicast packet is transmitted to a base station.

A paging information transmission system and a method thereof for specific MSS confirming a TLV format and automatically providing MBS contents are provided to offer MBS contents automatically through a TLV format. An MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service) contents is transmitted to a mobile station existing in an idle mode. A mobile station produces a mobile paging advertisement message for a mode shift to an active mode. The movement paging advertisement message includes TLV(Type Length Value) field. A TLV format includes a type field(101), a length field(103) and a value field(105). The value field(105) includes an MCID field(111), a logical channel identifier number field(113), an offset indicator field(115), an offset value field(117) and a logical channel identifier field(119).

A system and a method for providing a location based service in a mobile communication system are provided to supply various services based on LBS(Location Based Services) in the mobile communication system using WiMAX forum network working group standards, thereby providing a new profitable chance to a communication provider. If a location server(LS)(200) receives a location trigger demanding location information of a mobile station(MS) from a location client, an authentication request message requesting identifier of an anchor authenticator with regard to the MS is transmitted to an authorization, authentication and accounting(AAA) server. The AAA server transmits an authentication response message including ID of the anchor authenticator to the LS. The LS transmits an LS request message requesting LCID of a serving location controller with regard to the MS to the anchor authenticator. The anchor authenticator is an APC(Anchor Paging Controller)(230). The anchor authenticator transmits a call starting request message for starting a calling operation with the MS.

An apparatus and a method for providing a service provider list in a broadband wireless access system are provided to supply a service provider list to a user, thereby enabling the user to receive a service list according to a location, age or performance of the terminal. A proxy server inspects whether service provider information is received from one or more service providers(301). The proxy server stores and manages the received service provider information in a database(303). The proxy server inspects whether a service provider list request message for requesting a service provider list is received from the terminal(305). When the service provider list request message is received, the proxy server checks the service provider list and an IP address of the service provider by using ID of a currently registered base station and the service provider information(307). Service provider list response message including the IP address of the corresponding service provider and the service provider list which the proxy server can offer to the terminal are transmitted to the terminal(309).
