Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for off-line commerce and advertisement connected with electronic commerce and advertisement on the internet is provided to secure a customer with minimum cost and time and offer a high level service to the customer by offering an off-line shopping mall for commerce and advertisement connected with an on-line electronic commerce and advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A first process constructs an on-line shopping mall for commerce and advertisement and an off-line shopping mall for commerce and advertisement, and constructs an integrated user database which records a result of a customer. A second process confirms whether the customer who visits at the off-line shopping mall is a member or not. A third process enables the customer to join as a member and issues a membership ID(identification) card. A fourth process offers a variety of service as well as shopping and advertisement. A fifth process records the result of shopping and advertisement at the user database which the on-line shopping mall and the off-line shopping mall have in common.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for quickly initializing an echo removing unit using a circular convolution technique are provided to improve an initialization speed and thereby improve performance of the apparatus, by making a transmission signal and a coupling signal different from each other, and performing an initialization operation using only a real number signal through circular convolution. CONSTITUTION: A modulator modulates a symbol to be transmitted, using a carrier wave with the same frequency as that of a transmitter. An output from the modulator is converted to a transmittable analog signal via a signal process part(22), a digital-to-analog converter(23) and a low pass filter(24). The low pass filter(24) is an analog filter for removing an image spectrum from the converted analog signal. A hybrid coupler(25) sends the analog signal output from the low pass filter(24) to an opponent modem, and receives a signal via an echo path. A band pass filter(26) filters the signal received via the echo path in order to remove a part except for the spectrum of a signal band from the received signal. An analog-to-digital converter(27) converts the output of the band pass filter(26) to a digital signal.

Abstract: 써큘라콘벌루션(circular convolution)기법을 이용한 반향제거기의 빠른 초기화방법 및 장치는 V.34와 같은 일반공중전화선을 이용한 고속모뎀에서 반향신호(echo signal)를 제거하기 위한 반향제거기를 빠르게 초기화하기 위한 것이다. 본 발명은 복소수 훈련신호 대신에 다주기 합성 구형파 또는 실수 첩(chrip)신호로 반향제거기 초기화를 위한 실수 훈련신호를 설계하여 전송하고, 전송되는 신호에 대응하여 수신되는 신호를 미리 정해놓은 결합신호와 써큘라콘벌루션의 연산을 수행하여 주파수편이 추정과 근/원반향경로 추정하고, 그 추정치로 반향제거기를 초기화하도록 한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 반향제거기 초기화의 연산량을 대폭 감소시킬 뿐 아니라 초기화 속도도 빠르게 하는 효과를 제공한다.
