Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for fabricating three dimensional optical model is provided to reduce mask production time to manufacture by utilizing a negative mask using an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel, and easily form and remove the negative mask. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating an optical model comprises the steps of forming a photo plastic resin layer on a platform, forming a negative mask pattern on a liquid crystal display panel, and irradiating light to the photo plastic hardened resin layer through the negative mask pattern of the LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel. The optical model is formed by repeating the above steps.

Abstract: 컴퓨터를 이용하여 이미지를 생성한 후 이를 3차원 모형에 투영함으로써 모형에 색감 및 질감을 부여하는 장치 및 방법이 개시되어 있다. 본 발명에 따른 3차원 모형에 컴퓨터 이미지를 투영하여 색감 및 질감을 부여하는 방법은 3차원 모형과 동일한 형상을 갖는 3차원 모델 정보, 및 사용자가 지정한 색감 및 질감 정보에 따라 쉐이딩된 3차원 그래픽 모델을 생성하는단계; 3차원 모형의 형상, 위치 및 방향 정보를 이용하여 2차원 이미지 평면과 상기 생성된 3차원 그래픽 모델 간의 변환 함수를 생성하는 단계; 상기 변환 함수를 이용하여 상기 쉐이딩된 3차원 그래픽 모델을 2차원 투영 이미지로 변환하여 생성하는 단계; 및 상기 생성된 2차원 투영 이미지를 상기 3차원 모형에 투영하는 단계를 포함한다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따르면, 다양한 색감 및 질감을 손쉽게 검토함으로써 제품을 소비자 기호에 맞게 최적으로 설계할 수 있다.
