PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for transmitting frame by avoiding interference in a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) system are provided to transmit and receive frames using a channel without generating interference for a station by transmitting a data frame based on an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission method. CONSTITUTION: An AP(Access Point)(311) transmits a data frame to an STA(STAtion)(312) by accessing to a channel. The AP and the STA transmits and receives the data frame using each single antenna. The transmission beam vector of an STA1(321) and the reception beam vector of an STA2(322) are set, the data frame of the transmission and reception between the AP which occupies the channel and the STA coexists with the data frame of the transmission and reception between the STA1 and the STA2.

PURPOSE: A power saving method in a terminal of a wireless communication system is provided to expand operate time of a terminal through a reduction of power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A terminal transmits an uplink frame of a AC(Access Category) to a AP(Access Point)(110). The terminal receives a buffered data or a management frame from the AP(120). If an EOSP(End Of Service Period) is 1, the terminal determines the transmission of a PS-Poll(Power Saving-Poll) frame(130,140).

PURPOSE: A receiving device and a method in a wireless communication system using multi antenna are provided to enable noise variance by antenna almost similar. CONSTITUTION: An AGC(Automatic Gain Control) unit(300) calculates the gain of each variable digital gain amplifier(100) by being provided digital signals outputted from a analog digital converter(200). The AGC selects minimum gain value among the calculated gain values. The AGC calculates difference values between the minimum gain value and rest gain values. According to the calculated difference values, a noise matching amplifier(400) lessens the digital signals.

PURPOSE: A method and a device for transmitting and receiving packet capable of detecting system of data are provided to conveniently perform system detection about data transmitted by a new system and maintain compatibility about existing system at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A pattern decision unit(506) determines a pattern of a real number part and an imaginary number part corresponding to a system about transmitting data. A transmitting unit(508) transmits subcarrier according to combination of the determined real number part and imaginary number part. A receiving unit(512) receives the subcarrier through the transmitting unit of a packer transmitting unit(502). A system decision unit(510) determines system data received by the received subcarrier.

An ACS(Adder compare selector) and a method thereof are provided to offer a high data transmission rate to a low frequency clock by connecting the ACS of the viterbi decoder serially. A first operation unit(401) adds a part of values inputted from a BMC(Branch Metric Calculator) and a existing path metric value stored in an SM(state metric memory). A second operation unit(402) has the same structure as the first operation unit and adds the remainder among the result value of the first operation unit and the value inputted from the BMC. A comparison unit selects a survival path with the minimum path after accumulating the output value of the second operation unit and outputs the selected path to a TBM(Trace Back Memory).

An effective bit calculating method used with a soft-decision decoding apparatus for improving performance while reducing the implementation complexity in a multi input multi output system and a method thereof in a multi input multi output system and a method thereof are provided to maximize channel decoding performance. One or more multiplier multiplies the soft demapper signal according to a modulation mode by the size shape value of the null matrix vectors outputted from the detector. An effective bit calculator(302) deletes a part of the lower bit about the output bit of the multiplication method and extracts the effective bit. The effective bit calculating unit compares the absolute value and threshold value of the rest bit. According to the comparison result, the definite value is set up as the upper bit or rounds in the number corresponding to the specific bit.

An apparatus and a method for encoding a LDPC(Low Density Parity Code) are provided to reduce complexity of hardware by calculating a check node value and a parity bit using a message passing algorithm applying an offset. An input converter(1110) converts a type of an input bit from a binary type to a decimal type with a sign. A parity calculator(1120) calculates a parity bit by calculating a check node value about the input bit and an arbitrary parity bit according to the message passing algorithm. A parity corrector(1130) corrects the calculated parity bit according to the parity check result of the calculated parity bit. An output converter(1140) couples the input bit and the corrected parity bit.

An apparatus for calculating a phase using a binary search is provided to reduce a loss of a phase detection precision according to a quantization of input I and Q component data by not depending on the number of bits of the input I and Q component data. An apparatus for calculating a phase using a binary search includes a sectional plane linear processing unit(500), a phase representative value detection unit(530), and a sectional plane post processing unit(560). The sectional plane linear processing unit(500) determines a larger value of an absolute value of I component data and an absolute value of Q component data as a horizontal component data, and determines a smaller value as vertical component data. The sectional plane linear processing unit(500) detects phase region information which represents whether the I and Q component data are included in any region of a m-th phase region. The phase representative value detection unit(530) detects a phase representative value corresponding to the vertical component data and the horizontal component data. The sectional plane post processing unit(560) calculates a phase value of the I and Q component data based on the detected phase representative value x and the detected phase region information.
