Abstract: Systems and method are described for improving electrical isolation between a transmission signal and receiver circuitry of a transceiver communicating over one or more wireless networks via one or more shared antennas. The transceiver may include isolation circuitry to facilitate isolation of the transmission signal from the receiver circuitry. However, a leakage current of the transmission signal and noise signals may appear at the receiver circuitry. Presence of the leakage current or the noise signals in the receiver circuitry may cause interference with the reception signal. As such, the isolation circuitry may benefit from additional isolation between the transmission signal and the receiver circuitry to reduce an effect of the leakage current and the noise signals on the reception signal.

Abstract: Systems and methods for extracting polarized sub-signals from a dual-polarized signal includes isolating the polarized sub-signals using one or more filters. When a single filter is used to derive a first sub-signal, analog interference cancellation may be used to derive the second sub-signal. When two filters are used, the first and second sub-signals may each be derived using a corresponding filter.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for reducing insertion loss and/or swapping transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) frequencies in an electrical balance duplexer (EBD) used in a transceiver device for frequency division duplexing (FDD) applications are provided. Feed-forward receiver path from the antenna to a low noise amplifier (LNA) and a feed-forward path from the antenna to a power amplifier (PA) of the EBD may be used for reducing insertion loss of the RX and TX signals. In some embodiments, switches may be used to selectively alter operational modes for varied levels of isolation and/or swapping of TX and RX frequencies.

Abstract: The representative embodiments discussed in the present disclosure relate to techniques in which isolation between transmission signals and received signals in a transceiver may be maintained during downlink carrier aggregation. More specifically, in some embodiments, the transceiver may be implemented to include an electrical balance duplexer that isolates a signal component of a signal transmitted via the transceiver from a receiver signal path of the transceiver. The transceiver may also include analog interference cancellation circuitry implemented to isolate a noise component of the signal transmitted via the transceiver from the receiver signal path (e.g., from one or more downlink receiver channels). As such, the transceiver may operate using inter-band, non-contiguous downlink carrier aggregation, intra-band, non-contiguous downlink carrier aggregation, intra-band, contiguous carrier aggregation, and/or the like.
