    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a fungicidal mixture, effective against plant pathogenic fungi within a wide range by combining an oxime ethercarboxamide with a synergistically effective amount of (±)-2-chlorophenyl-4-chlorophenyl- pyrimidinyl-5-methano1. CONSTITUTION: This germicidal mixture is obtained by formulating an oxime ethercarboxamide represented by formula I with a (±)-2-chlorophenyl-4- chlorophenyl-pyrimidinyl-5-methanol at a weight ratio of the compound represented by formula I to the compound represented by formula II within the range of preferably (10:1) to (0.1:1). The resultant mixture can be used to protect plants, seeds, soil, the ground surface, spaces and various materials from noxious fungi and pathogenic fungi. The compound represented by formula I is preferably used in an amount of 0.005-0.5 kg per ha and the compound represented by formula II is preferably used in an amount of 0.05-0.5 kg per ha. The compounds represented by formulae I and II are simultaneously applied together or separately used mutually before and after. The mixture is capable of manifesting excellent controlling effects on noxious various fungi of cotton, vegetables, various barleys or wheats, coffee, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a microbicide obtained by combining α-methoxyimino-2[(2- methylphenoxy)-methyl]-phenylacetate with a specific azole compound, and showing synergistic activities. CONSTITUTION: This microbicide includes methyl α-methoxyimino-2-[(2- methylphenoxy)-methyl]-phenylacetate of formula I and an azole microbicide selected from (Z)-2-(1,2,4-triazolylmethyl-1)-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-(2-chlorophenyl)- oxirane of formula II, hexaconazole, flutriafol, triadimefon, triadimenol, cyproconazole, imazalil, etc., in an effective amount as the microbicide. The mixing ratio thereof is preferably (10:1) to (1:10). The mixture dominantly containing a component in a form of (E)-isomer I of formula III is preferable in the compound of formula I. The compound of formula II includes a salt thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a sterilizer prepared by compounding methyl amethoxyimino-2-[(2-methylphenoxy)methyl]phenylacetate with fenpropimorph, tridemorph or fenpropidin, and capable of exhibiting a synergetic effect. CONSTITUTION: A sterilizer obtained by compounding methyl α- methoxyimino-2-[(2-methylphenoxy)methyl]phenylacetate of formula I with fenpropimorph of formula II, i.e., 4-(2-methyl-3-[4-t-butylphenyl]propyl)-2,6- dimethylmorpholine, tridemorph, i.e., N-tridecyl-2,6-dimethylmorpholine or fenpropidin of formula IV, i.e., N-[3-(4-t-butylphenyl)-2-methylpropyl]piperazine. A compounding ratio (weight) of the two components is preferably (2:1) to (1:2). This composition is extremely effective on a wide spectrum of plant pathogenic fungi, especially belonging to Ascomycetes and Ustilago.
