    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent discharge failure of ink and smearing on a type, by arranging paper dust removing means to a side of a carriage, the side facing printing paper that is loaded in the carriage. CONSTITUTION:The paper dust removing member 9 is mounted on one end, for example a right lower end, of the side of the carriage facing the printing paper 4 in the carriage. The paper dust removing member 9 is made of material capable of being electrified such as a synthetic resin and is formed with holes 9A, 9B to be fitted to projections 8A, 8B on the carriage 8 so that the member 9 may be mounted on the carriage 8 detachably. Further, the paper dust removing member 9 is formed with a projection 10 that is extended further than a recording head 11 of the carriage 8 and is positioned nearer to the printing paper 4, so that the paper dust 7 on the printing paper 4 can be preferably absorbed while the member 9 is moving ahead of the recording head 11 in the travling direction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid container in an ink jet recorder, in which a refilling time of the liquid is ascertained easily, by a method wherein a slope surface for liquid level detection is provided in proximity to a bottom of the recording liuid container. CONSTITUTION:A recording liquid container 10 contains recording liquid 11 and feeds it to a recording heat from a liquid outlet 13 through a feed path 14. A slope surface 17 is provided in proximity to a bottom 16 of a side wall of the container, for example, a side wall 15 positioned facing and opposite to a liquid outlet 13, and is formed such that the height from the bottom 16 to a cross point 17A of an inner wall 15A of the side wall 15 and the slope surface 17 is somewhat higher than that of the liquid outlet 13 (liquid level 11B). Thus, when the recording liquid 11 is reduced to a liquid level 11C from the liquid level 11A, a slope surface 17 between a liquid surface end 11D and the inner wall 15A can be visually watched from the above of the container 10 and a refilling time of the recording liquid 11 can be easily ascertained visually.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a recording head capable of jetting a liquid stably, wherein the angle described between the inside and outside wall surfaces at the tip end portion of a jet orifice forms an acute angle. CONSTITUTION:A liquid such as ink filled in a passage 8 of a recording head is jetted from a jet orifice 10 for conducting recording. In this case, the angle alpha described between the inside wall surface 11 and the outside wall surface 12 at the tip end portion of the orifice 10 is set to be an acute angle. More preferably, a line segment BP is set at an angle more than a predetermined value relative to the center axis OP so as to enhance the droplet forming efficiency. Since such troubles as accumulation of liquid at the tip end portion of the orifice 10 are prevented, it is possible to jet liquid droplets consisting of constant amount of liquid securely and stably.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the acoustic resonance, reflection and interference in a liquid and to stably discharge liquid drops in response to an electric signal, by providing creases on the inside surface of a conduit which connects the recording head of a liquid ejection recorder to a liquid storage vessel. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 1 comprises a cylindrical member 5 and an electromechanical converter 6 secured on the peripheral surface of the cylindrical member. When an electric pulse is applied from an electric signal generator 4 to the converter 6, pressure waves are produced in a liquid chamber 12 to discharge liquid drops from an outlet orifice 9. At that time, the pressure waves are transmitted to a conduit 3 which connects a liquid storage vessel 2 to the recording head 1. Creases are provided on the inside surface of the conduit 3. The pressure waves are diffusedly reflected by the inside of the conduit so that the waves are damped and prevented from being transmitted toward the outlet orifice 9. Since a high-molecular material such as polyvinyl chloride absorbs wave motion, the material is appropriate to manufacture the conduit 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and compact recording device which is capable of stable printing against external influences by setting a distance between the straight line passing through the center of the end section of a liquid supply passage and the straight line passing the center of a liquid discharging orifice at a value smaller than specified. CONSTITUTION:A supply passage 17, which is a part of a recording head 13, is introduced from the main body of the recording head to a tank part 22; the liquid 22-1 in the tank part 22 is introduced into the main body of the recording head, and is fixed by the wall 18-1 of a vessel 18 so that the liquid may be free from vibration and shock. A distance L between a discharging orifice 13-3 and the terminal part 17-1 of the supplying passage 17 is defined as a distance L1 to a straight line which is parallel to the free surface 22-2 of the liquid in the tank 22 and passes through the center of the orifice 13-3. This L is smaller than 50mm, preferably smaller than 40mm for the liquid recording media having 40-60dynes/cm surface tension.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the entrance of dust and bubble at the replacing period of the recording liquid and facilitate the easy handling by covering the recording head by means of a cylindrical material consisting in the high molecular substance and filling the both two materials with a recording liquid. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical nozzle 3 having a discharge orifice 2 and a piezo- electric element 4 in the cylindrical shape which covers the nozzle 3 are provided in a recording head 1. Then, a recording liquid is fed to the nozzle 3 through a feeding tube 5. The recording head is composed of by the recording head 1 and the feeding tube 5 and the outer part of the head is covered with a cylindrical cover 6. The inside of the cover 6 and the outside of the recording head are stuck with a film 10 formed by a plastic high molecular substance. When the cover 6 itself is made by a plastic high molecular substance, the use of the film 10 may be omitted. Now, a fine ventilating hole 11 less than 100mu in diameter may be recommended to be positioned in a part of the cover 6 preferably.
