    Abstract: PURPOSE:To miniaturize a camera and to improve portability thereof by integrally moving a lens system to an image surface side from the state of the almost telephoto end of a zoom lens in the case of switching to a telescope state from a photographing state and changing the focal distance of an ocular to a short side. CONSTITUTION:At the time of obtaining the telescope state, a space is formed between a 2nd lens group and a 1st mirror on the telephoto side in the two- group zooming. In the telescope state, the image 11 is moved near to the ocular 7 by integrally feeding the 1st lens group 1-1 and the 2nd lens group 1-2 of a photographing lens 1 toward the 1st mirror from the state of the telephoto end by the use of the space. Then, an auxiliary lens 10 having positive power is inserted in the optical axis of the ocular 7 by a driving means so that the diopter of an eye may be fitted to the image 11 and the focal distance of the ocular is adjusted to be short, so that the telescope is constituted. Thus, the compact camera provided with a telescope which is excellent in portability is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain potential characteristics stable against all the environments ranging from high temperature and high humidity to low temperature and low humidity and a good image by incorporative polyamide grafted with homo- or co-polymers each having a specified unit component in an interlayer. CONSTITUTION:The interlayer contains the polyamide grafted with the homopolymers or copolymers each having the unit component represented by formula I in which R1 is H or methyl; Z is -O- or -NH-; R2 is H, alkyl, or aryl; A is alkylene; and (n) is an integer of 1 - 100. As the polyamide constitut ing the main chain of the grafted polyamide, various nylons are enumerated as follows; nylon 6, nylon 11, nylon 12, nylon 66, nylon 610, nylon copolymers of the some component units of these nylons, N-alkoxymethylated nylon, N- alkylated nylon, nylons having aromatic units or the like, thus permitting poten tial characteristics stable against all the environments ranging from high temper ature and high humidity to low temperature and low humidity and a good image to be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow the multipoint distance measurement over the entire part of an image plane with high accuracy by providing a condenser lens face and a deflecting means consisting of plural divided deflecting planes which deflect a part of the luminous flux transmitted through the lens face in plural directions forming the prescribed angle from the optical axis of an optical system. CONSTITUTION:The rear face of the deflecting means 22 has the plural divided deflecting planes 22b to 22d which deflect a part of the luminous flux from the photodetecting lens 21 in the plural directions forming the prescribed angle from the optical axis L. The deflecting plane 22b among these faces constitutes the coaxial system having the optical axis L with the 1st lens face 22a of the deflecting means 22 and the shape of this lens face is approximately concentric around the central part of the photodetector 23. The deflecting planes 22c, 22d constitute the concave lens faces having a deflecting effect and respectively have the optical axes L22c, L22d. The multipoint measurement with the high accuracy is execute at the plural points in a photographing range while the luminous flux is effectively utilized by one light source or one photodetector.

The 1st and 2nd focus detection systems have mutually different center parts of range finding visual fields in light quantity distribution areas of the object image to be detected. Namely, the secondary optical system 34 composed of eight image forming lenses (34-1a)-(34-1d), (34-2a)-(34-2b), and (34-3a)-(34-3b) on the whole and they are arranged behind respective aperture parts of the diaphragm 33 corresponding to them. Further, the optical member 49 made of the transparent medium is charged in the optical path extending from the secondary optical system 34 to the light receiving means 35 to adjust the optical path length.

CONSTITUTION:A plate 14 is held so that it can freely move in a direction shown by an arrow in a figure and is moved in an inplane direction by the actuation of an actuator 21 based on the input by an input means 20, which is intended to vary the extent of range-finding visual field. A field lens 10' is a fixed one having a Fresnel surface on its one side and the plate 14 is arranged nearer to a pentagonal prism side than the lens 10'. A detection mark is formed on the one side of the plate 14, which is held so that it can feely move in the in-plane direction (direction perpendicular to an optical axis). As for the focus detection, secondary image-formation is executed on the photoelectric conversion elements 6' and 7' respectively by the use of secondary image-formation lenses 4 and 5 with luminous fluxes passing through the different parts in the pupil of the objective lens 1, and the focus is detected in accordance with a distance between the images. Thus, the detection extent is set at a desirable position without causing a trouble that a camera is made large in size because the sub mirror is made large.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a shadow in a range-finding visual field from being caused at the time of observing by means of a finder and to detect a focus with high accuracy by specifying the optical arrangement of each element concerning a focus detecting means in an image deviation system and using a luminous flux passing through the primary image-formation surface of a finder system so that the focus may be detected. Provided that the image-forming magnification of a secondary optical system is taken as beta, a distance from the primary image-formation surface to the principal point on a front side of the secondary optical system is taken as X, the angle of a principal light beam from each center of the secondary optical system to the center of the viewing angle of the primary image-formation surface is taken as theta, the length of range-finding visual field on the primary image-formation surface is taken as (l) and the image height in the longitudinal direction of a photodetector train by the secondary optical system on the finder visual field end is taken as (h).
