PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition which has excellent curing sensitivity and from which a firm and soft film can be formed, to provide an ink composition which is prepared by using the curable composition and from which an image excellent in curability, scratch resistance, blocking resistance and stretchability can be formed, and to provide an ink-jet recording method using the ink composition and printed matter. SOLUTION: The curable composition includes (A) a polymerizable polymer compound having a radical polymerizable group on the side chain of the polymer compound which is selected from a group comprising polyallylamine, polyvinylamine and polyethyleneimine, (B) a radical polymerizable compound having the structure different from that of (A) the polymerizable polymer compound, and (C) a polymerization initiator. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable composition capable of forming a cured film having high sensitivity to irradiation of active radiation, excellent in curability and storage stability, showing less color change before and after curing, and having high adhesiveness to a solid surface after curing, and to provide an ink composition containing the photocurable composition. SOLUTION: The photocurable composition comprises: (A) a compound having a radically polymerizable unsaturated bond and a sulfide bond in the molecule; (B) a radically polymerizable compound; (C) a radical polymerization initiator; and (D) a sensitizing dye represented by general formula (i). Also disclosed is an ink composition containing the photocurable composition. SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) an ester or amide of monofunctional (meth)acrylic acid having alkylene oxide repeating unit in the molecule, and (C) a coloring material. The content of (B) the ester or amide of monofunctional (meth)acrylic acid having alkylene oxide repeating unit in the molecule is 1-18 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition. A content of the component (B) based on the whole ink composition is 3 to 35 mass% on a solid conversion basis. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion in which a pigment is finely dispersed and which has excellent flowability in a region where pigment concentration is high and also has excellent dispersion stability of the pigment in a diluted state when stored for a long period of time, an ink composition suitable for inkjet recording including the pigment dispersion, and printed matter. SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion is provided, which contains: (a) 2-35 mass% of a pigment; (b) 10-30 pts.mass of a polymer including 5-30 mass% of a repeating unit represented by general formula (1) and having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000-200,000 based on 100 pts.mass of (a) the pigment; and (c) 15-50 pts.mass of a graft copolymer having a polyalkyleneimine chain or a polyallylamine chain in a main chain thereof and a polyester chain in a side chain thereof based on 100 pts.mass of (a) the pigment, wherein the total of the contents of (b) the polymer and (c) the graft copolymer is 25-70 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of (a) the pigment. The ink composition including the pigment dispersion and the printed matter are also provided.
