    Abstract: A sensor-equipped display device is provided and includes display panel including first and second substrates, common electrode, and polarizer; backlight unit which emits light toward display panel, including light guide opposed to polarizer and light source which emits light toward light guide; conductive member arranged at back side of display panel and opposed to polarizer; controller; first flexible printed circuit; and second flexible printed circuit, wherein first flexible printed circuit is connected to display panel, second flexible printed circuit is connected to back side of first flexible printed circuit, common electrode is connected to controller via first flexible printed circuit, second flexible printed circuit comprises first branch portion and second branch portion, first branch portion is connected to light source, and conductive member is connected to controller via second branch portion of second flexible printed circuit and first flexible printed circuit.

    Abstract: In a display apparatus provided with an electrophoresis layer, such a display apparatus capable of operating a driving electrode for use in displaying an image as an electrode for use in detecting an input position is provided. A display apparatus includes: a substrate; another substrate that is disposed so as to face the substrate; an electrophoresis layer sandwiched between the substrate and another substrate; a plurality of pixel electrodes formed on the substrate; and a plurality of driving electrodes formed on another substrate. An electric field is formed between each of the plurality of pixel electrodes and each of the plurality of driving electrodes, so that an image is displayed, and an input position is detected based on an electrostatic capacitance of each of the plurality of driving electrodes.

    Abstract: A display device with a touch detection device includes: a plurality of display elements that are arranged in a matrix of row and column directions and that are surrounded by scan lines each extending in a first direction and signal lines each extending in a second direction, the display elements including a red display element, a green display element, and a blue display element; a plurality of touch detection electrodes opposed to the display elements; a plurality of metal wires disposed on the touch detection electrodes, the metal wires extending along the signal lines and being disposed between the display elements adjacent to each other, wherein the metal wires are divided into metal wire parts that are arranged in the column direction, and the metal wire parts, each being longitudinal in the second direction, are disposed without crossing each other and spaced from each other in the column direction.
