Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain low temperature, linear pressure fixing and to make a device small in size and light in weight by using a endless film belt and vertically arranging each device from electrification or the turning off of power to the fixing. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant photosensitive film belt 7a is vertically extended by at least two rollers such as a supporting roller 10 and a fixing roller (pressure roller) 5a. An electrifier 2a is provided opposite to the heat-resistant photosensitive film belt 7a and moreover, a exposing device 1a is installed opposite to it, to form an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive film surface. Then, a developing unit 3 is installed opposite to the film belt 7a in the lower side of a lower part roller (supporting roller 10) on which the heat-resistant photosensitive film belt 7a is extended and isolated from transfer fixing parts provided on upper part rollers (fixing rollers 5a and 5b).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To substantially prevent the generation of troubles, such as curling and jamming of paper, and to enable quick printing by executing a fixing stage at a specific temp. and the line pressing in the, fixing stage under a specific pressure. CONSTITUTION:Toners 10 are interfacial polymn. type capsule toners and the fixing stage is executed at >=40 deg.C to . The toners 10 stuck to the electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive body 1 are transferred onto a recording medium 6 by a transfer device 5b in such a case. A cleaning device 8, such as cleaning web, for removing a slight amt. of the toners 10 remaining on the photosensitive body 1 after the transfer stage is installed to face the photosensitive body 1. The fixing section includes a heater 4 for heating, a fixing roller 12 and an endless type film 11. The recording medium 6 having the toner image transferred onto the fixing roller 12 is brought into pressurized contact with the surface of the endless type film 11 to fix the image.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify transfer and fixing processes, simultaneously to dispense a space for waste toner because the waste toner is not generated by an untransfer and to miniaturize a system by simultaneously executing the transfer and fixing processes on a heat-resistant photosensitive film belt at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:Toner is composed of a hot-melt core material incorporating a thermoplastic resin and a colorant and an outer shell provided so as to cover the surface of the core material and the outer shell consists essentially of capsule toner composed of an amorphous polyester. The toner on the heat-resistant photosensitive film belt is usually heated in the range of 40 deg.C-120 deg.C by a heating roller 4 and passes between the heating roller 4 and the pressure roller 5, to come into contact with the surface of the recording medium 6 such as a recording paper, so that transferring and fixing are simultaneously executed. When the heating temperature by the heating roller 4 is lower than 40 deg.C, the melting of the toner is not enough and moreover, when the heating temperature exceeds 120 deg.C, a fixing temperature is higher.

CONSTITUTION:The image forming method consists of steps of forming an electrostatic latent image on an insulating body, developing the electrostatic latent image by depositing a toner to form a toner image, and fixing the toner image on a recording medium. The toner used is a capsule toner having the outer shell essentially consisting of amorphous polyester. The insulating body is an endless film belt. The toner on the endless film belt is preheated and then press fixed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make transfer efficiency excellent, to prevent frictional toner from being produced and to miniaturize a device by using specified toner and performing transfer and fixing to a preheated recording medium at the same time. CONSTITUTION:The toner 10 is capsule toner consisting of a thermoplastic core material containing thermoplastic resin and colorant, and an outer shell coating the surface of the core material which is made of amorphous polyester. A transfer film 17 moving in contact with a photosensitive body 1 is used, and an electrostatic latent image is formed by sticking the toner 10 on the film 17. The recording medium 6 is previously heated by a heater 4 in order to fix the toner 10, and fed to a pressure roller 5a. The film 17 is brought into contact with the rotating photosensitive body 1 between an electrostatic charging stage and an exposing stage, and separated therefrom after a transfer and fixing stage. Meanwhile, after the surface of the recording medium 6 is heated by preheating, the medium 6 passes the pressure roller 5a, and transfer and fixing are performed to the medium 6 at the same time. Therefore, the transfer and fixing stage is simplified and the device is miniaturized.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain printing quality with high image quality and to prolong the life of a developer by using a capsule toner, the shell of which consists of amorphous polyester. CONSTITUTION:The toner to be used is the capsule toner, the shell of which consists of the amorphous polyester. The toner is constituted of a thermoplastic core material contg. at least a thermoplastic resin and coloring agents and the shell provided to cover the surface of the core material. The glass transition of the amorphous polyester to be used is preferably 50 to 80 deg.C. The acid value of the amorphous polyester is preferably 3 to 50(KOHmg/g). The resin to be used as the essential component of the hot meltable core material of the capsule toner is exemplified by thermoplastic resins, such as polyester resins and polyester polyamide resins. The development suitable for the capsule toner is executed by using the two-component developer contg. a spheroidized resin carrier having prescribed average grain sizes.

The cost is lowered in this way.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a system by using thermal dissociation type capsule toner and a heat-resisting photosensitive film belt and simultaneously performing a transfer process and a fixation process at constant temperature. CONSTITUTION:The thermal dissociation type capsule toner is used as toner 10, the heat-resisting photosensitive film belt is used as a photosensitive body 1, and the transfer process and fixation process are simultaneously performed at 40-120 deg.C on the heat-resisting photosensitive film belt 1. The transfer process and fixation process are carried out by clamping the heat-resisting photosensitive film belt 1 and a recording medium 6 between a heat roller 4 and a pressure roller 5. In another way, the toner 10 on the heat resisting photosensitive film belt 1 is preheated and then the heat-resisting photosensitive film belt 1 and recording medium 6 are clamped between two pressure rollers in the transfer process and fixation process. Thus, a toner image is transferred and fixed at low temperature, of 40-120 deg.C so the transfer and fixation processes are simplified and the space for waste toner is not necessary.
